  1. Rangers, You might want to take a look again at your Preview Order. I ordered 16 June 21 at price level 235. PL 240 took effect on 8/23/21.
  2. Harry, I should have mentioned that we have all the major commodity constraints…AS, 5th WP, spray in liner, and tonneau cover…dropped the spray in liner a couple weeks ago. That said, this will be our long term truck, so don’t want to drop the other stuff…at least not yet. In the meantime, we still have our 2012 max tow, low mileage, 6.2l, Platinum F150 to get us by while we wait.
  3. No-Comms, We ordered an F250 7.3l Platinum Tremor on June 16, 2021…nine months ago, still awaiting a vin. We’ve also been at priority-2 since Christmas…hoping to get scheduled/vin this week…fingers crossed.
  4. Thank you for looking and the update. I understand on the priority from your last reply…I even shared it with my SM on why pri-1 didn’t happen. I just wanted to ensure it was still a two, since I also requested the SM get with Regional Manager to remove one commodity constraint - bedliner, and didn’t revert back to a 10. Thanks again ?on next week PS See you in two ?weeks, have a great weekend
  5. Bump Good afternoon Cyberdman, Could you please check latest status and reconfirm priority code?…now at 9 months since order. Sales code: F27443 Order code: 0616 Thank you
  6. Thank you Cyberdman for both checking and explanation of Priority code 1. My SM communicated with Ford Regional Manager, and I was told he was going to make the Priority change because of our 8-plus months waiting to get scheduled. I will re-engage the SM. Thanks again.
  7. Cyberdman, Can you confirm Priority Code as now 1 vs 2? I was told it was changed, just like to confirm or will re-engage the SM. Sales code: F27443 Order code: 0616 Thank you
  8. Bump Good morning Cyberdman, I would appreciate an update: was moved to priority 2 late-December, and Sales Manager recently requested priority 1 from Ford Regional Manager. Sales code: F27443 Order code: 0616 Could you confirm order status and priority code? Thank you
  9. No worries. I was confused and later amused when RT thought he had a 14k gvwr on a srw F350. ? Enjoy that beer/s, I’m having a cocktail myself…rum and something. Have a great night…peace out.
  10. Toolman, Yep, really same truck. All F250 diesel Tremors have/require hcttp…can’t get a diesel 250 Tremor without it…only thing hcttp on a diesel get you over the gasser is 3” receiver, thus giving higher tow rating because of both diesel motor and heavier/stronger hitch receiver.
  11. it wasn’t, it was comparing an F250 Tremor with hcttp, which is only with a diesel, to a srw F350. My theory why Ford is making Tremors the same F250/350 is it’s easier to build that way…the F250 Tremors are really derated F350 Tremors. Something I didn’t mention earlier is, you also cannot get an F250 diesel Tremor without hcttp, which gives it 10.8 gvwr vs 10k gvwr on the 7.3l gasser. This makes the diesel and gasser payload similar, and basically makes it same as F350 Tremor and similar to a non-Tremor F350 for rear leaf packs and axles. There is one moderate difference between a non-Tremor F350 and a Tremor F350: that is the non Tremor has a rear axle rating (gawr) of 7230lbs, while the Tremor is 6950lbs, which might likely mean lower payload. The real reason we ordered an F250 7.3l gas Platti Tremor vs an F350 Tremor was because of vehicle property taxes and registration on vehicles over 10k gvwr, they’re higher where we live in Virginnie. Also, we expect our Tremor Platti as optioned to have a legal payload of just over 2600lbs, while true payload capability is more like 3900lbs, just not legally. Been doing Tremor homework for almost two years now…if you need/want further confirmation on this information, go to the dedicated Tremor forum. ?
  12. Gents - RT and Toolman I believe I did answer the op very early on as it relates to F250 Tremors…we have a 7.3l F250 Platti Tremor on long wait order ourselves. All F250 Tremors have the same rear leaf pack and axle as an F350 Tremor…it is basically a derated 350 Tremor:, with lower gvwr, and hence lower payload…other than door sticker, an F250 Tremor is the same as an F350 Tremor. Hope that helps.
  13. All F250 Tremors, whether gas or diesel, are basically derated F350s Tremors. They have the same rear axle and leaf pack. The only difference is the gvwr rating…F250 diesel with hcttp is 10,800 gvwr and F350 diesel is somewhere around mid to high 11s, up to 12k gvwr…hcttp also gets you 3.55 rear gears and pretty high tow capability. Gas F250 Tremor is generally 10k gvwr and F350 gas is generally around 11.3k gvwr. The F250 diesel with hcttp is 800lbs higher than gas because of the heavier Diesel engine, but their payload ratings are equivalent. Hope that helps.
  14. Brother, I’m with you…waiting 8 months to date for scheduling…watching ice’s notes every week.
  15. I specifically asked Ice-Capades via pm earlier today about it. He then responded in Orders and Production, Weekly Scheduling Notes the answer I gave condensed. I would leave the thread open for now as not everyone knows there’s no scheduling tomorrow.
  16. Ice-Capades posted earlier today in Weekly Scheduling Notes that among others, SDs will Not schedule tomorrow. Otherwise, generally yes…scheduling happens on Thursday
  17. Ice-Capades,

Are there any Weekly Scheduling Notes for this week?…haven’t seen any posted.

    Thank you.

The following notice has just been posted in the Scheduling Notes section.

      SCHEDULING NOTES NOTICE

Scheduling Notes with commodity restraints and other detailed information will no longer be provided. Too much information is being abused to generate endless speculation and/or being shared with Dealers.

  18. We ordered an F250 7.3l Platti Tremor with all commodity constraints…5th wheel prep, AS, tonneau, spray liner. Was a priority 10 forever and got moved up to a priority 2 just before Christmas. Just recently decided to drop spray in liner, since it can get done locally for same price. The Sales Manager is working with Regional Manager to make the change and to request priority 1 because of the long wait. To top this all off, we originally ordered as a 21my in April 2021, which was canceled by Ford mid-May…they canceled many outstanding 21 orders during chip shortage. Reordered late-May as a 22my and was accepted by Ford mid-June. Based on June date, we’re at 8 months unscheduled, but really are at 10 months if you use the April date. On the upside, it’s our travel trailer tow vehicle for camping, which we don’t do during winter. However, spring is coming soon and we’d like our truck sooner than later…that said, it’s been a long, hard, frustrating wait.
  19. I think the point that icecapades was trying to make is Only Retail COVP orders are tied to a name that’s enforced by Ford…not Fleet orders, so if they get it, they can sell it. That said, if you canceled and you got your deposit back, then don’t see any recourse you have trying to claim it if it gets built/delivered. On a positive note for you, whether they really canceled it or not, it may not ever get built anyway…retails are first priority, then stock, then fleet…as fyi, I’m at over 8 months unscheduled on a retail order, so I feel others pain and frustration in all of this.
  20. They can sue and likely will, even if it’s true…that said, they could lose or have the lawsuit thrown out. But, it will still cost you time and money getting a lawyer and going to court. The best way back at them is get your truck, so they can’t sell it to someone else at a substantial markup, which is what They want.
  21. I’d be pissed too, but You don’t want to go this route on the name and shame on Social Media. I read awhile back about somebody doing this over a Bronco retail order going bad and the dealership trying to put an ADM on an order. The guy went to social media and blasted the dealership, and so did others who were sympathetic to his plight. The dealership sued him for Libel and public Defamation, I’d suggest selling old truck privately or thru Carmax, then go get your new truck at the agreed to, and hopefully signed, purchase agreement…then, never deal with them again and complain to Ford if you still feel that need.
  22. “I built it one piece at a time and it didn’t cost me a dime, you’ll know it’s me when I come through your town”. Awesome reference. ?
  23. Saw this yesterday on the Tremor forum on 7.3l gasser Sport Exhaust…seriously thinking about it if our Platti Tremor ever gets scheduled. Here’s the link to the article for anybody interested, enjoy. https://fordauthority.com/2022/02/2020-2022-ford-super-duty-7-3l-v8-sport-exhaust-system-now-available/
  24. An example, “Life can be in Tents .” We camp/glamp a lot, no tents, but a TT…Life is Good
  25. On a positive note, you have the highest payload I’ve ever heard of on a srw, just wow. Life is good…my wife buys me LIG shirts/sweatshirts to remind me.
