@ice-capades I’m hoping you can help. Ordered 4/21. Truck was sent to plant 7/28. Build day was confirmed by VVR as 8/6. Since 8/6, there has been nothing. No build confirmation. No release. No ship. I’ve called Marketing and Dealership and basically get told it’s sitting at the factory for some reason. Bed liner? Seems unlikely when I see other trucks being released and shipped daily with bed liner. I feel like something has gone wrong and I’m trying to find someone that will care long enough to look into this. I’m 19 days post build and don’t understand what’s going on. I do have an estimated delivery date range and Marketing tells me to just wait. If it doesn’t show up after my latest delivery date, then they can escalate the case and look further into it. Hoping you can offer some guidance. Thank you!

The Ford dealership I drove my yesterday did not have one new truck or car. It just looked like a used car lot...

Dealer shouldn't care. They can't get enough trucks. I drove by a local dealership yesterday that didn't have one new truck. Just looked like a used car dealership.

Congrats! The build dates compared to when people order dates seem all out of whack.

I've had a VIN for nearly two weeks, but nothing from Marketing or Dealership on a build week/date. Ordered 4/21, 7.3 Tremor CG

My dealer agreed to Xplan back in April. When I last spoke to salesman, they had over 80 trucks on order at that time.

I am in the same boat. Had my VIN for nearly two weeks, but no movement on a build date/week. I am assuming it has to do with the Sync 4 issue that arose about the same time.

Ordered 22 Lariat 7.3 Tremor on 4/21. Got a VIN from Ford Marketing last week, even though dealer says "no new info". Once I get to 15 posts, I can try to use the BO thread to get an update.

I checked on a truck in Boise today that was listed as Dealer Ordered. Salesman said it was still at the factory "waiting for chips". Dealer had no idea when they might receive it.
