  1. Does a link to your window sticker, or an estimated delivery date show up at the bottom left there?
  2. When my truck got picked up for scheduling and I got a VIN, somehow the color changed from Antimatter Blue to black. To be fair, I originally ordered the truck in black but after getting to see AB in person I decided to change it, which was almost 2 weeks before it got scheduled. The change was submitted correctly because I got a copy of the order after the change, which also included changing from the platform running boards to the extended running boards. When scheduled the extended running boards was on the order but the color was wrong… anyway I noticed it immediately and was able to get my dealer to change the color back. But yeah, I’d go through all the details every chance you get to make sure it’s right.
  3. (For the record, this was a rental F250. I ordered one almost exactly like it, expected to be built week of 9/6!)
  4. A while back my dealer had a 21 on the lot that wasn't a retail order. The dealer came out and asked me if I he wanted me to get the keys and I said sure. When he walked back out there were 2 dealers, the second one came out to take photos and was on the phone with a customer driving from out of town to most likely buy the truck. Because of this, they told me I was welcome to look at it inside and out, but I couldn't drive it since the other guy was coming. I was totally fine with that. Also, more recently a customers 2022 XLT came in that is almost the exact same build as mine. The dealer walked me out to the side of the dealership where it was and opened it up and let me look inside and out, but out of respect I didn't even ask to crawl inside it. I can say that at least at my dealer, they don't let people just get in and out of them, let alone drive them if they are retail orders. Saying that, if I knew I weren't going to be around when it arrived for a few days, I would still call the dealer and let them know when I would be back, and mention that I would prefer for folks not to be getting in and out of it.
  5. It appears to be pretty easy to add on after market. Since I took it off my order I am just going to see what I think of the storage area and will decide then if I want to add it. It looks pretty easy to do... and probably pick it up for a good sale around the end of November!
  6. Everything I’ve seen is that the interior (like pretty much everything else except the center stack) hasn’t been changed. I actually had the safe added to my order and then deleted it with the thought that it would be one less thing to hold up scheduling and then extra time being sent somewhere else for installation. I know you can buy them aftermarket for the same price. Now that I have removed it and thought about it more, I’m not sure if I will add it on now… but anyway, yes it will fit.
  7. The Priority Code 10 only makes a difference at your dealership. It has no affect on orders from any other dealership. Also, if you simply make a change to your order it won't move you to the bottom of the list, unless they completely cancel the order and start all over with a new order number, or if you order has already been picked up and scheduled and you have a VIN. And even if they do this, some have managed to place an order one day and get a scheduled build day the very next... it's all so random at how these trucks are getting picked... It does seem like adaptive steering is holding up lots of builds though on certain trims... so if you are dead-set on that feature there will likely be a wait... but no one knows for how long. I canceled the UTT package from my XLT build and the very next scheduling week they started scheduling XLT's with UTT packages... so, yeah...
  8. I added the plow/camper package to mine, along with the HCTT package. I have the 6.7 too, so I’m actually anticipating a decent ride. I’m just hoping my little 6000 lb GVWR camper doesn’t drop the back end too much to require airbags since the truck should sit pretty leveled.
  9. I played around on the Dodge site and agree… it wasn’t great. Also, Ford seems to have somewhat more a la carte items, whereas Dodge just seems to have mostly all packages. I didn’t even checkout Chevy/GMC or others. I knew it was between Ford and Dodge, and after renting and using both extensively last year… well it was Ford hands down!
  10. I haven’t gotten my truck yet, but I already have my Bakflip MX4 and BakBox2 at home waiting, and my BedRug will be on the way soon! Of course I have an Amazon cart with a bunch of stuff waiting too…
  11. If you got your email from Ford and it says your build week is 9/13, then that is your build week. But, it does appear that on 8/12 ("week of 8/9") Ford sent out build weeks for people over multiple weeks instead of just one week. For example, I, like you, got my email on 8/12 but my build week is 9/6, then there are others like you with a build week of 9/13, then there were also others that got a build week of 9/20 and even some that got a build week of 9/27. I have no idea if Ford has been scheduling vehicles over multiple weeks at a time like they did on 8/12, but it appears that enough people got them that it was intentional. So, again, if your email from Ford says your truck will be built the week of 9/13, then unless something changes between now and then, that is your build week, even if others got different build weeks assigned the same day.
  12. I figure that was because we just happened to stop in at the Ford dealership one day and placed an order... it had been a couple of months since I was really on the Ford site much, but I already knew what I wanted when we went in. Of course after I placed the order I came home and from then on I spent more time on the Ford site. Then after reading about others sending lots of requests for trucks to help prompt a PCO I tried it... got one after only asking for more info on 4 trucks... but that was after I placed my order... and now for the life of me I can't get it to shoot me another one now... but, I am anticipating my truck arriving at the very end of September (which would make current PCO's work, although I have none) or very early October (by which time the current PCO's will be expired anyway). Anyway, it's good to hear that some are still able to use them even though they are expired, but it sounds like that only works if the PCO was issued prior to making the purchase. Thanks for the info!
  13. That must be it. I ordered 5/24 and got the PCO 6/1. When speaking to my dealer it was implied that the only way to lock-in a PCO is if you had it when placing the order… I dunno though….
  14. I originally placed my order on 5/24, but when I went in to make a change to the order on 6/21 my base MSRP and Invoice price also went up. My dealer said he couldn't do anything about changing it back, although, I have read on here that when it's time to submit the order that he can request to have the original prices reinstated... I mentioned it to him and I didn't really get an answer one way or another from him, so I guess I will have to wait and see when it's that time. I agree though, the price increase should not apply considering I agreed to the base price and put down an initial deposit at time of order, but then again... who knows what will actually happen. I'll be honest, I'm not prepared to walk over $230, but after realizing my PCO will also not apply, I'm looking for any savings from anywhere... lol!
  15. I had a $1500 PCO that expired July 6th, and of course was tagged for 19/20/21 models. One lady at Ford Marketing told me it would not expire and I could use it for my 22 SD... When I finally got a VIN I had to go and talk with my dealer because the color of my truck got entered wrong. While I was there I asked about the PCO, so he pulled up Smart Vincent. It didn't even show up in the system, so I gave him the certificate number, which pulled it up, but it was clearly marked as expired and it wasn't able to be added. He also looked back to see if I had others, particularly at the time that I ordered, which I had none. It sounded like if I had a PCO when I placed the order, it may have locked in, but if I got it after placing the order it wouldn't lock in, so it expired. I'm a bit bummed about this since I now only have the $500 rebate for Farm Bureau, which hey, it's better than nothing and with this rebate gets me the truck at exactly invoice ($3800 off MSRP), but I would have loved to have a higher PCO to apply instead. He also informed me that the $500 FB rebate could not be stacked with a PCO, and I confirmed that with FB as well. But, I have seen it said many times, and I even said it a few times myself, that those expired PCO's would magically extend to include a new year and push past the expiration date, but this doesn't look to be the case, unless maybe the PCO was already on your account before placing the order. But, folks are still saying that they will be able to use it, so I am looking forward to hearing from someone that was actually able to apply an expired PCO to a new 2022 SD.
  16. The UTT hold was just on the XLT's, and it appears that the hold has been lifted. If I were you, I would keep it on... I placed my order on 5/24 for an XLT with UTT (among other things). On 8/4 I decided to cancel the UTT package since I wasn't sure when the hold for the XLT with UTT would be lifted. Sure enough, I got scheduled today for a build week of 9/6, but I have now seen 2 others with an XLT with UTT that also got scheduled... so I should have waited to remove it... It does look like my scheduled build week is the week before the 2 that I have seen with the XLT with UTT though... I just hope all of our weeks actually stay true and don't get pushed back. Either way, I would keep it on yours if you have it...
  17. It's good to hear that you got scheduled... I had an XLT with UTT on order since 5/24 and deleted the UTT 8/4... maybe I should have waited a little longer to cancel... oh well... at this point, I'm just glad to have it scheduled! Congrats to getting yours scheduled too...
  18. I called Ford marketing today and the same song and dance... unscheduled/clean... Came home, my new Bakflip MX4 and Bakbox 2 was here waiting... Just checked my email and I got a notification from Ford that I am scheduled the week of 9/6 and I finally have a VIN!!! Maybe deleting the UTT from my XLT helped...?
  19. I just deleted the UTT package on my XLT the other day too. I don’t mind losing the PTBA stuff (didn’t really want it anyway), but I really wanted the 360 cameras. Oh well….
  20. Forgive me, but the explanation you provided is the same thing I stated. But I digress… I apologize for trying to offer help.
  21. I cancelled the Ford hard folding tonneau, partially so this will be one less thing to hold up my build, but also because I saw the Bakbox and decided I really liked that and want it. So since I cancelled the Ford tonneau cover I specifically ordered the Bak MX4 so that I could use the Bakbox with it. It should be here this week, but my truck hasn’t even been scheduled yet… sooo….
  22. Priority Codes 1-9 are VIP codes and good luck getting one of these... as I understand it, there has to have been some issues and these are assigned from way up the chain. Priority codes 10-19 are retail, and for those of us ordering, we should fall in this range. The system defaults to 19, but the dealer can go in and change it all the way down to 10. Priority codes 20-99 are stock orders. These are codes that are assigned to the vehicles that the dealers are ordering to stock their lots with. Ideally, when you place an order, you would be assigned 10-19. It's basically a virtual line... One week Ford will tell your dealership that they can build XX amounts of whatevers, so they start with the lowest code numbers. Then, the next week Ford tells the dealership they can take more so they pick up where they left off... Also, know that the numbers only make a difference at the dealership level, once they get picked up by Ford, your priority code has no meaning. So, if we both had orders at the same dealership, but I was a 10 and you were an 11, Ford would pick up my order first, then yours second, and so on... Despite all of this, Ford rolled out the COVP program in June... I don't quite know if it bypasses the old way, or if it works together, but you will definitely need to make sure that your dealer has ran your order through the COVP and it has been approved. Besides this, talk to your dealer and ask him to change your priority code to something at least between 10-19, and preferably 10. Otherwise, if you keep it at 80, your order won't be picked up until all retail orders have been picked up at that dealership. There's lots of reading on this in these pages, and I'm sure someone will come in and correct my understanding of it... either way, get the code changed to something lower, and make sure you have been approved in the COVP and then get ready to have your mind blown as to how Ford is selecting what to make when! You may end up waiting 4 days, or you may end up waiting for months on end... lol...
