  1. The business model for extended warranties is to only pay out 20% of the revenue. 80% is overhead, marketing, and profit. If you can keep enough cash on hand to fix any problem, in the long run you will come out better not buying it. If you can’t afford to pay for the repairs, you bought to much truck.
  2. Seems like with them requiring a DL, they could search for duplicates and remove them.
  3. I just ordered an F350 in antimatter. I’ve never seen on in the daylight in real life, just pictures. I did park next to one after dark, and it was under a light. It looks good on the side the light was hitting.
  4. Seems to be a lot of that going on. There should be a non refundable deposit required like Granger Ford does. Dealers are probably thrilled if they back out since retail orders are built first. Gets them a truck on the lot that they can put a huge markup on.
  5. X-plan is 0.4% less than invoice plus $200 or something odd like that. It should be right about invoice. Unless the 4%over is with taxes.
  6. Just about all options are gone. I wonder if they are trying to simplify things to build the trucks faster to get caught up. Seems like it would be easier for them to schedule with less options.
  7. I bought a 2002 Chevy new, and paid it off in 2006. I’ve been making that $400 a month payment for the last 15 years into saving/investments, and will pay cash. That dang Chevy just keeps on going with no issues, and makes it hard for me to pull the trigger. I like to say I prepaid for my truck, makes people realize you don’t have to be rich to pay cash, but just make the payments before you buy it.
  8. I’ve had 2 grey/silver cars, and the great thing about them is they don’t show dirt, the bad thing is when you spend a couple of hours cleaning them they still look the same. The rapid red is a great color, but being an Auburn fan, it is just to close to the color of the crimson turd. ;)
  9. The 4.30 does get the Dana, but is only available with the Gas engines.
  10. Like others have said is the payload is maxed out real quick. The other thing is with a camper, the side load from wind, and way on travel trailers is huge. They may be fine with a dump trailer with 10k of gravel, but a 35-40' travel trailer weight 10k, is a lot different story.
