  1. Sounds like you got the wrong lead under the hood. At least one of the leads from the upfitter relay box has a constant 12 volts. I would double check the label to make sure. Some of the descriptions are very similar.
  2. I used the rust oleum 2000 degree spray paint. I did 2 coats each of primer, black and then clear. I probably wouldn’t do the clear again as I liked the look of the black before the clear. It’s been about 3 months and no issues. I unbolted the tailpipe and put it on saw horses to spray it. Sorry I didn’t take any pictures during the painting.

  6. Got the call this morning and picked up my truck this evening. I had to show the sales manager the printout that “ice” posted a few days back regarding price protection and the manager called their regional rep. They figured it out. He said he didn’t know about that and this was the first time he has done this in 8 years as an employee. ?? Glad it worked out and thankful for the knowledge on this forum.

  12. When does the price become locked in. My dealer wants to charge me more based on production/delivery date vs. order date. Or is the date that the VIN is assigned when the price becomes locked. Thanks for any insight.
