Yes, from my experience the price or price level is locked from ford the day you are confirmed and should match your original build sheet even if you make changes after price increase. As mine was a retail order, I cannot speak about fleet or stock orders though.

I can confirm that there is price protection as I just picked my truck up Wednesday and was so excited I forgot everything I learned from this forum. I signed all documents with the higher price, was approved out the door with new truck. Got home and it hit me that I total screwed that up. Today I received a courtesy call from sale rep checking on me and how was the truck. I this point I figured they would say you signed for it and its a done deal. I explained that I wanted to inquire about the price protection as I had ordered the truck back in October before the increase. Also to note I added adaptive cruise in January after the December price increase. She politely said she did not know and would get the sales and finance mangers involved.. Got a text later in the morning that they would file to appropriate paperwork with ford and I would received a check directly from ford. Dealer was Ricart Ford in Columbus Ohio. Big thanks to ice-capades and many others on here that take the time to put up with us newbies.

Picked the truck up yesterday from Ricart

They could be waiting on other trucks to be built that are in your route or area... Just a guess though on my behalf.

Here's the entire timeline from ford tracking site but it could be a day either way as I received different dates from dealer. For example ford tracker said delivered on 2-21 but dealership said it got there this morning. But all that don't matter to me now that I have it..

Ordered 10/6/21 delivered to dealer today.

Got good news today. Saleswomen called and truck should be @ dealership around 3-6.

Thanks I had not seen that one yet... it does have some decent photos and good looking trucks.

I wish this thread would pick up some steam. I too am very interested in updating my wheel and tires once truck is delivered. I have searched the web and found examples but would be nice to see and get 1st hand knowledge from those that have pulled the trigger

I'm in the same boat sorta. I added an option after the price increase and had to sign a new build sheet with the price increase including option added +2k more ?. My dealer said they will work with me. We will see. Good luck ---EDIT--- I reread the tread and found this. Lesson learned

I had found an informative post either on this site or some other that indicated that the dates change based on the status of the build. In production - built - shipped. But what threw me for a loop was even though ford tracker said it was in production on the 9th when it changed on the 17th I texted my sales representative to see if it was built and they told me that it did not go into production until the 17th thus my confusion. Now the date may not mean squat based on a reply I recieved earlier but if that's the case then why change at all? I could ask cyberdman my status but really not that pressed so I'll wait a week or two and see what happens. I was more curious than anything. Have a blessed day ?

Ok need some info... as you see above my sticker had 2/9 I assumed from reading post on this site and others that it was going to production then it changed to 2/17 -meaning it was built. I heard back from dealer and they said it just went into production on the 17th not the 2/9 date. I'm not sure what to believe??? Thank you in advance for your insight

After seeing your post I checked mine and my window sticker had 2/9 last night and changed to 2/17 today also. I just texted my sales rep to get update. Nothing back yet. You must live next door to plant ?

I struggled with those exact two colors. carbonized gray and rapid red. Must have built in both colors 50 different times. It came down to the type of truck I decided on. Rapid red for single rear or carbonized grey DRW. F350CC DRW 8' bed in carbonized gray for the win
