If people can manage to LS swap Porsche 911s, then you can surely manage this project. the bit that would make me nervous is swapping over the electrical, but I’m no expert on these engines.

Yea, a high volume dealership doesn’t necessarily make it break an order. For reference I ordered from a medium-ish volume dealership (they specialise in Lincoln afaik) and got my truck in 6 months almost to the day.

You should bone up on your power stroke history. The 6.0 was a mid late 2000’s engine.

Man, I’d be in the same boat. I have a 2019 F450 with pretty low kms. If I couldn’t get a new 450 I’d just keep it. My family all drive Rams, and they give me a hard time about my Ford, but I feel the same way as you, I just don’t like em much despite the nice interiors. anyway, it’s a shame you’re not in my neighbourhood because my dealer has been really fantastic to work with. Although it took me a while to find them.

It really feels like you’ve slipped through the cracks. What would you buy instead of an F450 though? I was in a similar position looking at the competition, but I circled back to the F450 because it’s the biggest baddest pickup truck money can buy. That and the wide track front axle is impossible to give up.

My truck didn’t have massage seats to begin with, but the multi contour seat delete is still listed in the accessories ?

Well, more good news on my end. Checked today, and my truck has been shipped, and is on it's way to the dealership! I'm getting pretty damn excited to sample that new truck smell!
