    This morning's updated gas prices in Hamden, CT 06514 (Greater New Haven)

    •  $2.89 Regular (Cash) @ Undesignated (Former Gulf)
      • Price is not a typo! GasBuddy will not post the price which is well below the average market price in the area.
      • GasBuddy stopped displaying all prices for the former Gulf Station which still has no signage identifying the gas brand they're selling. 
    •  $4.49 Premium (Cash) @ Citgo (Increased $0.30 from $4.19)

    •  $2.89 Regular (Cash) @ Undesignated (Former Gulf) (Increased $0.20 from $2.69)
      • Price is not a typo! GasBuddy will not post the price which is well below the average market price in the area. 
    •  $3.35 Regular (Cash) @ Citgo (Increased $0.16 from $3.19)

    The Hamden Gulf station was sold about a month ago. There is still no new signage installed but the station is selling Regular grade at $2.39, well below the average market price in the area. The clerk was unable to tell me what gas brand is being sold and told me that the new owner is a company called Oasis, which I've never heard of.

    Just imagine the backlash should Ford move Mustang production outside the United States! Ford couldn't be that stupid, then again, it's Ford. How many years now has Flat Rock been in limbo because of plant restrictions, yet Ford continuously teases plans for upgrades.

    Yes, there was a lot of attention to Maverick generated by the initial reservation numbers. But it's just talk as many reservations don't translate to sales. Maverick was also very attractive thanks to the initial pricing but that's now long gone.
