  2. Per Friday's FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin) here's the updated production timetable for the 2021/2022MY Ford Expedition. 09/03/2021 - 2021MY Fleet Final Order Due Date 09/30/2021 - 2021MY Last Day to Spec Change 12/22/2021 - 2021MY Job Last Date 10/13/2021 - 2022MY Order Bank Open Date 11/18/2021 - 2022MY Scheduling Begins 01/18/2022 - 2022MY Job #1 Date
  3. Commodity restraints information are included, as available from Ford, in the Ford Scheduling Notes thread. The initial weekly notice is usually posted Monday afternoon and updated further as additional information is received from Ford.
  4. SCHEDULING TOOLBOX - SCHEDULING PLAN This is the tentative scheduling plan for the production period. This is just a guide for scheduling. This information is tentative and may change at any time. THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO UNSCHEDULED ORDERS ONLY. Blue Oval Forums_Production Week Scheduling_2021-09-13.pdf
  5. Dealer "Wholesale" allocation agreements are being completed today. Super Duty scheduling next week will be for retail orders only for expected production weeks of 10/04/2021 & 10/11/2021, per Ford.
  6. Okay... I see now. I was looking at exterior colors and not interior trim packages. Ford's mistake for not listing the change/deletion on the first page of the 2022 Lincoln Corsair Order Guide.
  7. The USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) for the 2022 Mustang doesn't open until 10/11/2021. The 2022 Mustang Order Guide will be available on or about that date and be available for download in the Dealer Order Guides section as soon as it's released to Dealers.
  8. Because there's been no Beyond Blue on the Corsair.
  9. Front License Plate brackets are included at no charge in any state that requires 2 plates. They're either installed at the plant or shipped with the vehicle for installation at the dealership depending on the model. If I remember correctly, they're pre-installed at the plant for Super Duty's.
  10. Call your Dealer. A "99" code means "Do NOT Schedule" but a "99" code shouldn't be available.
  11. Forget the "Convoy" method shown on the Window Stickers. Very, very few vehicles are shipped convoy/carrier direct from the plants. The vast majority are shipped via rail to a final rail ramp destination and then transferred to a car hauling firm for delivery via carrier to the dealership. I could show you tons of Window Stickers with "Convoy" as the shipping method for vehicles produced a thousand miles or further away.
  12. The WBDO (Web Based Dealer Ordering) system default priority code is 19 for retail orders requiring Dealers to manually assign a lower priority code. Most Dealers don't realize it, pay attention or bother to adequately manage their USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) to change retail priority codes and end up with all their retail orders having the same 19 priority code. Doing so tells the ordering system that the Dealer doesn't care which orders are scheduled first as it treats all the orders equally. The original order date is a minor factor in the process. The ordering system follows the path of least resistance regarding commodity restraints and will schedule the orders it can the easiest.
  13. The first suggestion is to contact your Dealer. They can contact the appropriate regional representative at Ford that has the resources to find out what the reason for the holdup is.
  14. Thanks for the reply. The whole retail order system is a mess these days and there just doesn't seem to be a reason why Ford's e-mail is reporting a December production week. Have you talked to your Dealer or seen a copy of the Vehicle Visibility report with the most recent schedule information? I don't remember seeing reports of other Mustang orders with similar production dates but I look at so much information that it's difficult to keep track!
  15. It seems that Ford's announcement regarding vehicle production in India will mean the end of the EcoSport, especially with Ford's introduction of the new Maverick which it expects to attract sedan and other buyers due to its low price point. While outdated, the EcoSport isn't a bad vehicle but, even with sizeable incentives, it just isn't producing the sales volume to justify investing in a next generation. Even so, there are many car buyers that simply won't want to drive a Maverick regardless of how attractive the price is. While the Ford Puma has been so favorably received and has Jim Farley's support, it's a matter of whether Ford can sell the Puma in North America at a price point that will be attractive to customers and at a volume to justify selling it here and meet Ford's profit objective.
  16. It's okay. My point was that customers shouldn't have to call Ford for information that their Dealers can easily and quickly access.
  17. I'm curious as to where the information on your scheduled production week of 12/06/2021 came from as 2021 Mustangs are currently scheduling through late October. Dealers have 24/7 access to the Vehicle Visibility system that provides all status information regarding order history, scheduling, production and shipping updates which can confirm your order status. Orders are not necessarily scheduled or produced in the order they are received depending on many factors including commodity restraints, supplier issues, the microchip shortage, interrupted plant schedules, etc. Don't include what you may have seen about orders for other vehicle lines as each vehicle line's scheduling and production is independent of any other. The number of retail customer orders has increased tremendously in the past year and has made the whole process much more involved as Ford continues to deal with the order logistics and related production issues. Ford makes every effort to produce scheduled vehicles but there are no guarantees that a vehicle will be produced based on microchip, supplier, commodity and other factors affecting manufacturers in today's market.
  18. I wish everyone would stop recommending that customers call Ford for order status information. Ford is getting flooded with calls, in part due to the tremendous increase in customer retail orders and there have been numerous reports from members reporting that Ford is limiting the information that they will provide. Dealers have 24/7 access to the Vehicle Visibility system that provides all status information regarding order history, scheduling, production and shipping updates. Few Sales Representatives are familiar with the retail ordering process or the resources that are available to dealerships, such as the Vehicle Visibility reports, so it's recommended that you contact the Sales Manager or the individual responsible for managing their order bank for updates. Make your Dealers do their job and provide the information you require!
  19. Poor Alex has to be turning over in his grave with the Jeopardy fiasco!
  20. I'd have to guess, only a guess, that it's related simply to not being able to meet the demand for the hybrid powertrain right now and cutting off hybrid scheduling until they can be assured of supply to meet further scheduling needs.
  21. Per Ford's scheduling notes for this week... 22MY Maverick Scheduling Maverick FWD w/ Trailer Tow Pkg – 22MY Maverick will no longer offer the FWD (W8E) with Trailer Tow Package (53Q). Maverick Hybrid Scheduling – Until further notice, hybrid orders will not be selected for scheduling.
  22. Dealership's know what weeks they have scheduling allocation for the entire scheduling period (month). Retail orders verified through the COVP (Customer Order Verification Program) qualify for incremental allocation and priority scheduling. For weeks when the plant schedule is full, allocation rolls over to the following week.
  23. Retail orders submitted via the WBDO (Web Based Dealer Ordering) system default to priority code "19" which requires Dealers to manually change orders to a lower priority code.
  24. Priority codes are set by the dealership to prioritize the order desired for scheduling.
