  1. Something's not right. A priority code can't change from 11 to 21 without changing the order type. Retail priority codes are 10-19, stock orders 20-80 and changing the order type would also change the order date.
  2. Agreed on many levels although I was fortunate to have a few very good Zone Managers over the years but they were the exception. Most are young, recent college graduates that Ford hires cheap, gives them a title and works them long and hard while indoctrinating them with the "corporate" line, etc. Pre-pandemic when almost all the "wholesale" allocation meetings were in person it would be the Dealer Principal, General Manager, myself and the Zone Manager. At times we'd call in the Internet/Fleet Manager or the Sales Manager for specific input. I was the one that played "Devil's Advocate" and could ask very direct questions or make direct comments about Ford corporate that the Dealer Principal or General Manager couldn't! It was interesting to see the Zone Manager squirm and try to rationalize allocation, scheduling and/or production decisions when questioned!
  3. I'm not going to even bother commenting... here's the link. https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/63667-ford-vehicle-ordering-scheduling-process/
  4. No! Sorry but your statements are totally incorrect and misleading to those like yourself that haven't bothered to read the available resources about the ordering, allocation and scheduling processes that have been in place for decades. I'm not going to go through all the details again for what seems like the thousandth time but submitting an order to the USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) has nothing to do with allocation or scheduling which are all separate matters but related at stages in the scheduling process. A Dealer that would hold back on submitting an order actually hurts themselves and the customer as the date an order is received is a factor in scheduling under certain conditions. And there are times when Ford will schedule a retail order without allocation. Unscheduled orders are subject to commodity/options in place for a week that a Dealer has allocation but there are times when Ford will make an exception to commodity restrictions in order to schedule a customer's retail order. An order confirmation e-mail from Ford is no indication that allocation is available and has nothing to do with a Dealer's available scheduling allocation! Priority codes for retail orders are an important tool for Dealers to prioritize the order in which orders are scheduled as allocation becomes available. The WBDO (Web Based Dealer Ordering) system sets retail orders to the default "19" priority code but retail orders can use codes 10-19 with 10 being the most desirable, then 11, etc. In WBDO, a Dealer must manually change the "19" default priority code. When multiple orders have the same priority codes, the scheduling system treats all the orders the same and will schedule the order that most easily complies with the commodity restrictions in place for that week. The scheduling system is supposed to consider the oldest order first when there are multiple retail orders with the same priority code but a Dealer can't rely on the order date alone due to other factors involved in the process.
  5. Wrong Forum. Tracking requests may be made in the Vehicle Locator by Ford Employees forum at https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/forum/80-vehicle-locator-by-ford-employees/ Be sure to read the rules carefully as they are strictly enforced.

  13. The Window Stickers are generated shortly before the vehicle goes into production.
  14. On a Shelby GT500? Not likely. In my market the going rate is MSRP + $20,000.
  15. The Pick-Up Box Delete option was deleted/cancelled for the 2021MY.
  16. It's not like a lot of the imports that build vehicles and then wholesale them to their dealers. Ford doesn't build any vehicles unless they're actually ordered by a Ford Dealer.
  17. I posted earlier today that in the closest 300 dealerships... including Stock, Retail and Fleet orders in stock, in the plant and in transit... there are only 38 2021 F-150 Regular Cabs (4x2 & 4x4) out of 1,500 F-150's of all body types. That's approximately 2.5%.
  18. The microchip supply situation is evaluated on an ongoing basis and production schedules are adjusted as necessary. There are no guarantees on vehicle status, location or dealership ETA after production. Otherwise, you're looking for answers that no one can provide.
  19. FYI... in a search of 2021 F-150 inventory through Ford's Vehicle Locator at the FMCDealer.com portal, including units in the plant, in transit and in stock there are (38) 2021 F-150's (402 & 4x4) Regular Cabs out of 1,500 for all body codes. These numbers are for the closest 300 Ford Dealers and include all order types (Stock, Retail & Fleet).
  20. Orders are not scheduled unless they meet the applicable commodity restrictions at the time of scheduling. Production delays of scheduled vehicles due to the microchip shortage are a separate issue.
  21. Hmmm... all you have to do is read the first page titled "Major Product Changes"
  22. This forum is for production week scheduling information. If you're looking for order status or produced vehicle tracking information please make your request in the appropriate forum.
  23. Ford's been making the same mistake over and over again in not updating product. Then it goes stale, not competitive any longer, sales drop and they wonder what happened.
  24. If you're referring to the 2022MY Lincoln Aviator, the most recent information shows a scheduling start date on 06/17/2021.
  25. SCHEDULING TOOLBOX - SCHEDULING PLAN This is the tentative scheduling plan for the production period. This is just a guide for scheduling. This information is tentative and may change at any time. THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO UNSCHEDULED ORDERS ONLY. Blue Oval Forums_Production Week Scheduling_2021-06-07.pdf
