Liberals insist that deficits come from cutting taxes. Nothing could be further from the truth!!!!!! Whenever they cut taxes, the federal income rises because more economic activity happens which causes taxable events.

 

EXAMPLE: If I buy a new car, how much tax do I pay? If I buy a new house, how much tax do I pay? If I travel on vacation by plane, car, or train, how much tax do I pay? If the government takes my money in taxes, and I don't buy any of these things, not only do I NOT pay taxes on them, but the guy who builds them is layed off, and instead of paying taxes, he is getting a government unemployment check.

 

Yes, yes, I know that most of the taxes I have used as examples are State taxes, but the logic applys across the board.

 

If you want a perfect example of what happens when government policys take to much money, all you need do is look at the Carter era. And what happened when Reagan got in? Always remember that any change in policy takes 6 to 18 months to have an effect.

 

So then, where do deficits come from? OVERSPENDING, period...........just as if you spend more than you make.

 

So then, if deficits come from over spending, how much money should we actually be paying?

 

That is a loaded question. We as Americans HAVE to fund non-discretionary spending for sure. We can't give the government less than they MUST spend, or we will collapse on ourselves. You can look it up and see what the non discretionary spending is.

 

But what the government likes to do is-------------->take YOUR money that is earmarked for non discretionary spending, and well, SPEND IT, lolol. Spend it on things that they like, deals they cut, PORKBARREL PROJECTS in WV, lol........then come back and tell you that your favorite non discretionary program is UNDERFUNDED, like SSI, Medicare, Medicaid, or whatever they know will trip your trigger.

 

This is the way of government, plain and simple. This is why people like PUDDY TAT who want bigger government are so insistant on SINGLE PAYER, NATIONAL HEALTHCARE, SOCIALIZED MEDICINE, or whatever you wish to call it.

 

They know there is a problem, (and there is, no doubt about it) beat the drums, then try and convince YOU that it is a wise move to transfer virtually 12% more of economic spending to the government coffures, and they will fix it!!!!!!!

 

How many of you believe they will fix it? How many of you think the money won't go into the general fund like every other dollar we pay? How many of you think that they won't spend it like they did SSI, and won't come back with the same old, same old, that this program is underfunded, SO PAY MORE?

 

Look at the books!!!!!!! The government hides what they spend and where very well. The only way we actually know they screw things up is; people took years of their lives to go through the data to prove it.

 

This is why PUDDY and friends want this money. His arguement sounds good, his logic is reasonable once you take out his arrogance; but the truth is------------->if our politicians were trustworthy, we would NEVER run a deficit since we pay in way more than our non discretionary spending.

 

Democrats and Republicans alike have boxed themselves into a corner. The payments on the national debt is so high, they no longer have room to put in their favorite projects, or pay someone with porkbarrel kisses, as that room now goes to paying the interest on what we borrowed.

 

ENTER THE NATIONAL HEALTHCARE CRISIS, or the proclaimed crisis that only the government can fix according to PUDDY TAT. Now they will have another 1 to 2 trillion of wiggle room, be able to do CREATIVE ACCOUNTING that both Clinton and Bush pointed to, and you my friends will have no choice but to pay the freight if you want healthcare if the government gets its hands on it.

 

Being shot, (if you continue under the current system) or having your throat cut (if you listen to PUDDY TAT) are not good options. He tries to hide under a smoke screen by insisting if you don't like his deal, come up with other choices, hoping you will say the current system is so bad, we might as well try his.
