guesswhoscomingtodinner
And what exactly makes the Lexus RX a "luxury SUV" over the Highlander that the MKX doesn't have over the Edge? For starters, the Lincoln is just an Edge with a mesh grill. The Lexus and Toyota don't share bodywork, interiors . . . . . .

The Ford and Lincoln do not share interiors or front and rear clips.
guesswhoscomingtodinner
The only difference I see here is a glued on strip on the tailgate I don't see much similarity between these two.

It is usually easier to figure out if you are looking at a Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury by looking at the Grill. Ford= horizontal grill slats Mercury = Ford with vertical grill slats Lincoln = Ford with mesh grill

The days of Lincolns looking like fords are over. Did you see the MKS? Does it look like a Taurus to you?

I don't quite know what shared sheet metal has to do with it being any less of a luxury car though. What FEATURES does the RX have that the MKX doesn't?
