rmc523
I just saw a new ad for the Silverado today. It was displaying the Silverado's fuel economy. It shows the Silverado driving on a highway, then shows a Tundra on the side of the road with the guy holding a gas can waving the Chevy down (driven by Howie whatever his name is), then continues to pick up the F-150 driver as well. Have any of you seen this ad? I thought it was funny seeing the Tundra guy, then I got mad when I saw the F-150 guy.

Furious1Auto
How could things have happened in the order that you presented them? Edited February 17, 2008 by Furious1Auto
rmc523
How could things have happened in the order that you presented them? That's not the ad I saw, it wasn't a dealer ad. The ad I saw featured a red Silverado, a black (I think) Tundra, and a white F-150. I don't think it's on youtube yet, at least I couldn't find it. The one I saw had Howie Long in it. Ford-150
Chevy markets its fuel economy more than anything on their truck......oh and they think it is America's truck
sprtch06
I've seen that commercial. Compared to Toyota's elaborate "scenarios" and Ford's centrifuge, it's about the only commercial that is semi-realistic even if the fuel mileage numbers are fudged.
