mlhm5
"The 535hp FI model manages the 0-60mph sprint in just 4.9s, but those with another $50,000 to burn can upgrade to the supercharged 770hp SFI model for a cool $189,900. The extra power requires a modified rear suspension, but both versions get modern coil-overs, fuel injection, oversized slotted and crossdrilled Baer brakes and their 410 cubic inch motors are built by Keith Craft Racing." Link There was a small group of companies (Unique Performance, Wheel to wheel, and another) that came together to build restored Eleanors that Ford reissued VIN's for. I watched this car being built on RIDES hosted by Jason Preistly. LINK to Unique Performance! Here is a Unique Performance Restore PIC! These companies also colaborated on building A Chip Foose Designed 2005 version of the Eleanor. The Link you provided is better because these are not resto cars but Brand new repoped bodies. If you have done a resto than you will always wounder if you have removed all of the rot and decay. I don't care about original. I'd rather have a brand new 67' Mustang Shelby GT500, with modern technology intagreated into the suspention and drivetrain. This is exactly why I like the 08' Challenger, it is the truest to it's ancesstor of all of the three new domestic Muscle! This new Shelby is a bad a-s offering. Out of the three I like the new 67's that you found the best! Here is the brand new 67' Eleanor! rmc523
Interesting, I'm not sold on that modern interpretation.
