Proved: There is no climate crisis

It's bloody fffffffffffffreezing across this side of the pond how come JPD does not get any cccccccccccold weather down under if heat rises how comes he gets all the hot weather - bastard, and why is the upper atmosphere so cold if heat rises & why are airlines taxed so much in Europe for global warming when most of the flight is spent in the upper Tropospere where temperature remain almost a constant -57c in from the Stratosphere upwards. If the upper atmosphere remains a constant -57c this act as a cooling thermostat for hot rising air.

Aussies should be made to pay the most for global warming they are overun with farting kangeroos, have to many barbies every day & drink ghastly chilled Fosters, with air conditioners running 24 hours a day they have had this hot weather for a few decades or more now they are the main culprits.

UK is being taxed to death in the name of global warming and its fffffffreezing last to summers have been two of the coldest & wettest for decades it's about time we had a tax rebate.

Obama seems to be warming & waking up to TAX Revenue that can be raised from this, sorry l meant the dangers we all face from global warming.

Global Warming = More Tax = Motorist paying more = None of the revenue will be spent on STOPPING global warming not one dime = Propping up bankrupt governments/gold plated pensions = Smaller cars = More tax = More tax = More tax = More tax = More Tax

The government is taking that global warming tax money to build underground bunkers and space craft to protect all the VIPs from the coming Armageddon. It is not going to be caused by any global warming. It will be caused by a cyclical cosmic event which occurs every few millenia. That's why they will conficate your guns. When you find out what is going on, you would be up in arms. I know that global warming is bull. That is the most reasonable explanation that I can think of.

Be careful what you say because you may not get a seat on the Ark. I live far inland on high ground. Did you ever look at rock "formations"? You see those rocks with layers, broken and tilted with seashell fossils embedded in them? They were formed by sediment sinking to the bottom of the ocean. What are they doing broken and above ground? And what about all of these different ancient people writing about the sun changing its position relative to the earth? How do you explain the frozen wooly mammouths in Siberia with tropical plants in their stomachs? Pole shift, caused by a close encounter with a large planet is the only logical explanation.

Global Cooling hits the UK with just 1cm of snow and the whole country grinds to a halt - Snow levels are rising maybe we need a Global Cooling tax that should fix the problem.

What we do to the earth is nothing compared to what happens to it naturally. Did you ever study about "continental drift" in school? You know. The continents look like they were once joined because they fit together like pieces of a jig saw puzzle. Hell-o! The only way that could happen is if the land was moving to fill in a gap. Something smashed into the earth and broke off a big chunk. How much tax would it take to fix that?

Former astronaut speaks out on global warming

Schmitt contends that scientists "are being intimidated" if they disagree with the idea that burning fossil fuels has increased carbon dioxide levels, temperatures and sea levels.

"They’ve seen too many of their colleagues lose grant funding when they haven’t gone along with the so-called political consensus that we’re in a human-caused global warming," Schmitt said.

Schmitt said he’s heartened that the upcoming conference is made up of scientists who haven’t been manipulated by politics.

Of the global warming debate, he said: "It’s one of the few times you’ve seen a sizable portion of scientists who ought to be objective take a political position and it’s coloring their objectivity."

I ran into more of these left wing environmental idiots last week in Boston, I was walking down the street and green peace wanted me to join to help stop global warming. I must have laughed 5 minutes before asking the guy how cold out it was ( It was about 10 degrees that day) and telling him Al Gore is not a scientist.

well i can swim, and as for the ark, i am not buying it, the gore-esque scenario might not happen as ice is less dense and more voluminous than water, and when you add in the atmosphere i suspect the sea level rising isn't going to be as quick as some suspect.

as for those ancient peoples that saw the sun move, well it did around the earth DUH!!!

and maybe the wholly mammoth was a vegetarian who went to the rain forest cafe!, or there was global warming in the past and tropical plants in Siberia.

as for the pole shift isn't december 20th, 2012 coming soon?

There is something going on, of that I have no questions. Some places are getting hotter and some are getting colder. My issue lies with the cause and the solution. Are we the major cause? If we are, can we do anything about it?

The sun is the major cause of climate change. The oceans are a distant second, and the vegetation is a distant third. There are wild cards, like volcanoes and meteorites. Humans' influence is all in their minds. Activist leaders puff up the egos of insecure socialists so that they believe they have this imaginary power. It is really a power and money grab for the green crew.

Trim you started off great, but man kind can affect the environment, be them commies, regional polluters, or salienators of the worlds oceans.

as for can we do anything about it, who knows, the scientific community can't come to a consensous, adn when you throw outside interets and money at the problems from al angles you get a lot of muck raked up and no clear view.

We can bankrupt ourselves and allow a dictator to take over in the vain attempt to "correct" something which is way beyond our control. We don't even see a problem. My guess is that there really isn't a problem. It is a scheme cooked up by the left to get more government control. I would rather choke on pollution than lose any more freedom. The air is cleaner now than I have ever seen it in my life. I remember when there was a lot more smog. They said that it was bad for me. Otherwise, everything was normal. I didn't suffer at all.

actually it wasn't the eight warmest year, unless you use selective measuring tactics.

http://www.noaanews.noaa.gov/stories2009/2..._ncdcstats.html

Just as you seem to be doing?

"Even so, 2008 is set to be about the 10th warmest year since 1850, and Met Office scientists say temperatures will rise again as La Nina conditions ease. "

did you read the whole thing? or just that its the coolest since 2000?

Why stop at 1850? Look at the grand scheme of things.

I think that the US is a little ahead of Canada now in that department. They have, for all intents and purposes, nationalized the banks, and the car companies will be next. They will probably dump enough bailout money into MMGW to tip the scales into bankruptcy. Then they will have the excuse to take "emergency measures". Goodbye ballot box; hell-o "Castrobama".

Well I probably should have mentioned that it has gone above freezing maybe 3 days since the end of November and also has been an extremely snowy winter.

Let's ask jpd80 how he's doing down under. A couple weeks ago it was hitting 45 degrees celsius in places. That's 114 fahrenheit. I don't even like to go in a sauna that hot for longer than 5 minutes. All-time records were falling right and left, and half the continent was on fire. I was in Tokyo on business and the place was crawling with Aussies trying to escape the heat.
