This guy isnt a soldier hes a coward. He enlisted in May when Obama was already president he knew then. He was just trying to make a point. Also, he's in violation of the UCMJ for criticizing the president. As a NCO or officer, you are not allowed to speak up againts the government. Once you join the militiary, especially as an officer, your beliefs are the property of the US government. I have no problem with American citizens standing up for their beliefs, but not while serving in the military. If you don't like it, get out. Apparently this guy has been in for awhile as he is a major and now that he has to go to war he starts whining, basically saying he is better than the tens of thousands of service members alreardy serving in war zones. His point of contention was the sitting President is not qualified as CIC. Be it known I am not a lawyer, but after 8 years in the military I know full well they would hang him up to dry if there weren't alterior reasons. He didn't say he wouldn't go, he said would follow orders from an Illegal Pres. and wanted proof of citizenship. I have never heard of the Armed forces canceling orders unless they planned to presecute. In fact there was a female Doctor about two years ago that refused to go because of religious beliefs, she was charged and discharged. The worst part of this is I think you will start to see more refusals. Oh I have heard now the the PC war police have changed the rules of engagement and they have to get permission to return fire. I had to present one to get a SS number, I had to present one when I applied for a drivers license. Now under state law I have to prove residency/citiczenship when renewing my license which a birth cert is one form that is allowed. I also had to present one when entering the Military to verify age. Also McCain, is a natural born citizen, he also retired from the Navy after 30 years. He was born on US soil on a navy base in Panama to parents who were both US Citizens.
