'07 SD will use the same solid front axle as the '06. In fact, the new redesigned '08 with the 6.4L PS will also use the same solid axle-coil setup. '07 production is supposed to begin tonight, with the '08 model starting in Jan. of 2007. According to Ford design engineers, the solid axle will be around through 2010.
