rmc523
And, if you don't live anywhere near California or the Northeast (DC on up), a house. :P ...or South Florida.
ANTAUS
So I'm pondering this...it took Toyota 9 years to develop and finally build the $400K vehicle, and yet, they release it when we have a recession/depression ? Great timing huh...
papilgee4evaeva
...or South Florida. Thought about that later on that evening. **************************** ANTAUS has a point, even though the people who can afford cars in this range probably never noticed we were in a recession. Well, based on the fact that I saw 3 Phantoms, 1 Ferrari, 3-4 Bentleys, and a whole assortment of other "regular" luxury brand vehicles today alone, I'd say you're right. ANTAUS
I actually have relatives, specifically my great grand parents, who swore the 1929 Depression never happened. Its like a big blur to them. In related news, Walmart has come out with a new product line called "Canopy". I touched the towels and bedsheets, and they are actually made of quality materials, I was shocked my hand didn't cramp up like it usually does when touching clothing or Mainstay towels. Supposedly its geared towards "Neuvo-Poor"...For those that would have shopped Target, but now can't. Although from visiting the Disney parks every other weekend, I'm still waiting for this supposed recession. Lines are things long, the gift stores packed. And I'm still annoyed that I must "wait" at a restaurant. I mean, if this is what a recession is, I want hardcore recession because I'm really tired of having to wait for a table at a restaurant. I did NOT move to the country for me to deal with big city mentaility...geesh....
