New 5.0 Supercharger Uncovered at Dream CruiseIf you are cruising Woodward Ave tonight, keep an eye out for a special car by Ford Racing - Their 2011 Kona Blue Mustang GT is sporting a new 2.3L Twin Screw Supercharger that really ups the ante on an already great powertrain, significantly boosting the horsepower of the 5.0's impressive 412 horses. Or you can see the car in Mustang Alley at the Woodward Dream Cruise this Saturday when Ford Racing officially unveils the supercharger for the new 5.0 engine. atvman
Does this fit the Boss as well? The Boss has fully forged internals, one would think it would be a more ideal application for a supercharger than the GT.

one2gamble
looks interesting, pretty good power numbers for the warrantied one.
atvman
525hp, 470lb-ft at 7lb 624hp, 536lb-ft at 9lb Not bad considering this comes with the typically conservative Ford Racing tunes. I bet an aftermarket tune alone would result in 25-30hp on top of these numbers.

I bet the 2nd one is the aftermarket tune since it doesn't come with warranty.
