156n3rd
If Mahindra quality is anything like TATA, it's a very good thing they arestaying away. On the latest incarnation of Ice Road Truckers, they show 3 drivers taking on the Himalayas in TATA trucks. These are supposed to be heavy trucks, but they are a joke. The cabs and frames are made of wood! The Cummins engine delivers 130 horsepower and tghe tranny is a plain ol' straight 5 -speed. They are under-powered crap. Just watching them drive on the roads is heart breaking as you know the drivers are in for it. Mahindra can keep their trucks. They would never fit in to this culture and way of life/use here. They just don't get it.
