J-150
I've been a passenger in one. Nice little trucklets. Good at what they were designed to do.
NickF1011
Good at what they were designed to do. Once upon a time. I think the lack of updates more than anything else led to the Element's death.
J-150
Once upon a time. I think the lack of updates more than anything else led to the Element's death. Like so many others. Element reminds me of the Freestyle. Panned by armchair Auto-CEOS, but loved-to-death by their owners.

Ford has an opportunity to "capture" those customers IF they update the Connect. More HP, AWD, better interior and 2,000 lbs towing and those "loyal" Element owners will be dieing to get one ! That group f buyers does NOT want a SUV/CUV. They want a small box on wheels !!
Anthony
I'v got a buddy that swears by his. I hear that pro cyclists love it because it fits their bikes rather easily.

Honda expected to sell a lot of them to Gen X and Y, but they found that a lot of 50+ were buying them as a second vehicle for hauling. When I was a passenger in one, I was completely amazed at how much room they had inside. It's almost like a TARDIS on wheels. It's small, easy on gas and can fit lots of gear. It is definitely a useful vehicle. If the Connect can deliver on the same as a passenger vehicle it could sell enough units at a profit to justify itself.
