Who thought Obama was going to beat Hillary out in the primaries before it all started? Wasn't Hillary a slam dunk for the Democratic nomination? If you would have asked America who Mr Obama was in January of 2007, most would have shrugged while saying they have no clue, lol.

 

If Trump does NOT have a disaster of skeletons in his closet, if he can act slightly more humble on TV, and if he really wants it and runs, he will probably be the next President.

 

He is the only candidate that appeals to all sides through the issues. He wants to spend less. (tea Party) Knows all about business and its growth. (republicans) Wants to safegaurd Social Security and keep medicare. (the silver fox vote) Uses unions constantly, and wants manufacturing here by using tarriffs if necessary to make China value their currency correctly. (democrats/unions/blue collar) Wants to use our resources in this country as fast as possible to lower and stabilize the price of fuel, along with getting tough with OPEC. (everyone in this country except the enviros)

 

As much support as he loses from Republicans of the deep South on some issues, he will pick up far more from Democrats.

 

I am waiting if he runs and gets the nomination for the 1st debate between him and Obama. When the subject comes up about jobs, even the most cynical of you would have to take Donald Trumps ideas on how to create them over a community organizers; even if that organizer is the President!!!

 

Have any of you democrats hear Trump speak on energy? He stated.....and correctly......that everytime fuel rises unabated, it puts a huge drag on the economy. Anyone with any economic sense knows this, and he certainly does. It does nothing to increase jobs to stop the drilling and getting more of what makes our economic engine run because it does not lower/stabilizes the price. We all know that either Obama does not believe this, or he does what he does to pander to the enviro people in his party.

 

Most experts say by Memorial Day, the price of gas will be around 5 bucks, and will continue up. What is that going to do to your jobs? How about your spending budget, and what will you cut to pay for it? Does that bode well for any sustained recovery?

 

If you see this also, there is no way anyone who wants a job, wants keep their manufacturing job, or even believes that the status quo is satisfactory but lets not let it get worse......can vote for Mr Obama. The only ones who can with clear mind vote for the man is enviros. His and his partys policys have had an absolute detrimental affect on what you pay at the pump; a big one.

I think Trump is hitting hard on many issues that are very popular with most people. The birth certificate issue certainly not as high on the list as the U.S. being the laughing stock of the world, being raped on oil prices, manipulated currencies, loss of jobs, just to name a few. I think most people view him as a person who is not a politician but as a person who can get things done and will not be "politically correct" but defend and protect our interests. He is very outspoken and believable. I have never heard him speak out against unions just for the sake of speaking out against them. If he decides to run I think he has an excellent chance of winning. His biggest problem will be dealing with Congress as a political body rather than employees who he hires and fires.

I will remind each and every one of you democrats that if Ross Perot would have been elected instead of Bush or Bill Clinton, you would not have NAFTA and a horde of all the anti American union labor agreements that were passed.

 

I would also like to point out to each of you, that what Trump said------->I am not against trade agreements, but they must be fair to American workers, and these are not. This needs to be fixed immediately. He also said------->I will tell the Chinese that unless they stop manipulating the currency I WILL put a tarriff on their incoming products. And he also said--------->OPEC has been ripping us off for years. Our energy prices must be reasonably stable for growth. By lowering and stabilizing fuel prices, jobs will start to grow. We must open our own spigots, and start making places to refine our own.

We can argue this all day long. But the way I win the point is, the guy I think is worse, is doing the job right now. The guy you think is worse has been out of actual power for nearly 4 years.

 

I’ve said this before, I will say it again. Let’s use Ford as an example. Alan Mulally was brought in to fix things. If half way through his mandate, he had actually made things worse, but continued to blame the guy before him, would you be OK with Ford extending his contract? Of course you wouldn’t. It’s no different than Obama. He has a job to do, and is incapable of doing it. He needs to go.

What Tango has said sums it up succintly. When Presidents are elected to fix something it usually does deteriorate as his predecessors policys take awhile to go away, and his take hold. But, this guys policys were put in much quicker than most because of the make-up of congress, and have actually caused things to get worse; much worse, with no end in sight. If this was John Mcain instead of Barack Obama, what would you be saying today, lol. Does anyone actually believe that by next year at this time, Obamas policys will have us back where we were 4 months after he took office and started putting his policys in? I am here to tell you that from pandering to the enviro sector of his party, there just is no way in hell that is going to happen. Just wait until you see the economic numbers from this coming summer; just wait!!!!

 

Some of you people just do not understand that if you do NOT use the energy you have to try and keep prices as stable as possible, if those who do have the energy make it fluctuate wildly, you just can't keep growth going because of what it does to the price of any goods that have to be shipped, or built, using said energy.

 

Trump knows this, business people know this, consumers know this because of the amount of expendable income they lose whenever prices fluctuate wildly as they put it in their tanks; or prices rise everywhere because the price of shipping what they are buying rise as the fuel goes up. The only people who do NOT seem to have a clue is some of you, mainly the enviros.

 

Most of the people I talk to.......even the democrats I am friends with..........want someone else other than Obama in because of this. Now the democrat friends of mine are hoping that Obama gets defeated in the primarys so as they can still vote for a democrat. If that does not happen, I see no way that he can get re-elected, even against Mickey Mouse, or Santa Claus. Thus, the race for President is soley on the republican side of the primarys; therefore, if it is not Donald Trump, good luck putting up with some conservative politician that will be far less palatable to any of you.

 

The independents are going to go the other way this time in droves, and so are many, many, middle of the road democrats. Choose your own poison! If you want to let some other politician get in there is just as much interested in social change as jobs; social change in the opposite direction of what you believe I might add, go ahead. At least with Trump, he believes in you the workers and will mainly be worried about the economy and jobs. All this other social crap will be argued in congress, and I quite sure that if democrats vote for him in droves the 1st time around, anything except enviro issues that deal with drilling or building of refineries or the repeal of Obamacare that are big democratic issues that falls on his desk would probably be vetoed. He is not dumb, and I believe that neither are most of you.
