keoni
I just bought a 2012 Focus and need accessories. The car is an SE hatchback base Sonic Blue. Can I add Sync or cruise control? My salesperson was great but lacked knowledge. Any ideas? Oh, and the car is a blast to drive!!
NickF1011
Neither would be able to be added after the fact.
keoni
Neither would be able to be added after the fact. Dang. It was the only one they had on the lot. Zero Fiestas. I really needed a car so I snapped it up and the dealer trades were too extravagant. I'm going to have it re-upholstered though. I prefer leather. NickF1011
That's too bad. If at all possible, you should have waited for a better-optioned vehicle or check out other dealers to find something more to your liking. Hope you enjoy it, regardless! Hugh
Congratulations on your new ride. Sorry you couldn't have gotten what you wanted. You might have to trade in and update if you can. I guess that's the trouble with having to snap-buy, Sorry mate.
timmm55
If you are looking for hands free phone kits, I think there are plug and play Bluetooths available http://us.kensington.com/html/16236.html Here are OEM cruise kits. They have them for '11 Focus and Fiesta, not for 12 Focus yet......call. http://oem-auto-accessory.com/cruise_kits_for_ford.html Edited August 15, 2011 by timmm55
Noah Harbinger
Heh, before I knew anything about cars, I asked a friend how much it would cost to replace a manual transmission with an auto. I'm guessing you could find a way to make it happen if you really really really wanted to, and money, time and warranties were no object... but it's probably not worth it. keoni
Don't get me wrong, I love the car. I just really wanted Sync. However, the plusses outweigh the minuses. Also, it's more of an errand car vs. full on commuter. I'll survive with the 3.5 audio jack...that's placed in a bad spot.

The cables are good quality, and so cheap I end up buying stuff "just in case". You will never buy a cable or adapter anywhere else. http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218#1021808 6-footer M/F 3.5MM extension: 73 cents; shipping, $1.88. (I swear I don't work for them! Just can't stand how much places charge for cables.)
blazerdude20
ford dealers can add sync after the fact. there was a kit made available for the 09 mustangs and navigators. not sure if its still offered but worth a shot
