A friend of mine who works at WHQ just called me because he overhead management talking about replacement worker training will start next week due to the no vote. They will not stop production and will not take chances. Everyone seems to forget that Mulally fired over 40,000 union members when he took over Boeing.

 

 

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaha, boy that lie will stick till the regular workers show up, and there is not twice as many people waiting outside to fill their jobs! Hahahahahahahahahahaha

 

Fix what is wrong, and get the COLA back.

I'm with you. How many idiots do we have in the union? I've read too many morons who have no idea or refuse to believe there are millions of people who need jobs and can easily do production work. You can hire skilled trades almost anywhere. Wow, what a bunch of dummies if they don't think they can be replaced.

A week or 6 months, thousands will line up as replacement workers, really hard to dispute in this economy. Heck look at the thousands of people lined up for entry level jobs at LAP

How many applied for the Entry Level jobs at LAP? 7000? There will be people lined up no doubt if we go on strike or get locked out.

Agreed, thousands will apply, and thousands will need trained by management talent! The group leaders do what foreman use to do, and the foreman are luck if they can keep track of all the parts in the areas they cover. They are spread thin too. Good luck on training day with job1 country wide.

HE ALSO FIRE SAME AMOUNT OF SALARY WORKER ,WATCH OUT SALARY SUPERVISOR ,OR GENERAL FORMANS THE ONES THAT MAKE THE MOST PAID WILL BE ESCORTED OUT BY SECURITY ,IF THIS PASSES ,HOURLY WILL BE DOING ALOT OF SALARY WORK YOU KNOW THAT $1.50 RAISE FOR GROUPLEADER AND WILL ADD A BUNCH OF NEW ONES FOR EVERY 10 WORKERS ,WHY WOULD THEY WANT TO KEEP SUPERVISOR ,SOME PLANTS HOURLY PAY THEIR COWORKERS.

Let me tell you people that many of the company people that come in here to stray the vote are paid people by the company. The IUAW people that come in here to try and do the same thing are paid retards sitting behind a desk at the solidarity house doing it as well.

 

A no vote is not going to hurt you and will more then anything get you more money for your hard work! Don't believe the BS that is going around in this or other forums about why we shouldn't vote no. It's all right wing propaganda, and it's just not true.

 

See the republicans already think we get paid too much, they want to tear up the unions and wants us to work for 10 bucks an hour. This will never happen. If this IUAW can't do anything for us, then I'll be placing a call to Hoffa because he gets the job done.

 

Voting NO on this deal tells our UAW leaders to go back to the table and get more money or things added to the language that is it. It doesn't mean were going on strike. None of the UNION leaders should even be talking about what they plan to do if there is a NO vote. Leaders threatening the membership of a strike or lock out need to be elected out of office.

 

Read the contract before you vote. Then read the comments written by "NO" voters, talk to retirees and vote accordingly. The NO voters are not trying to steer anyone to make a wrong choice, we are only bringing you the "cons" of the new agreement vs. the old.

 

Ask yourself this question, do you want whats happening to us happen to you next time around?

The outcome of this contract isn't going to effect wall street in the short term. Wall street is currently a big business bubble that's about to burst. Wall street is the cause of the banks holding so much cash. When people sell or drop out of investing because of the market and economy as a whole, wall street suffers the price as a whole. Only the companies with the most cash on hand will survive and Ford is one of them. They played it smart, didn't take handouts, now they need to come up with some sort of deal everyone can be happy with. The membership currently isn't happy after it was told we would be getting back our concessions once it got profitable again.WELLTHEY MADE 6 QUATRERS OF PROFITS,LIKE 6.6 BILLION They are reneging on it's promises to the workers that buy Ford products, not a good way to start 2012.

 

Your are exactly right. People need to wake up. Wall Street says this is a good deal,that ought to tell our membership that this deal sucks for us and is only good for Ford. You are so right Wall Street is about to go bust. The people of this country has done woke up and seen the truth,they are fighting back,thats why Occupy Wall Street has become a success and it will change things. The media tried blocking news coverage on it,yahoo blocked emails on it,media tried to denounce it and say it was just a hanful of young,punk kids. Well it has grown to thousands around Wall Street itself and now people in 15 other cities and states have joined in,the whole world is listening and watching and supporting the cause,cause Wall Street effects the whole world.

 

Our union leaders in no way should be strong arming us and using scare tactics for us to vote a certain way. They should be elected out of office and Im tired of not being able to vote on our IUAW reps and our President,that is such bullshit. A union is suppose to be a democracy and our Iuaw runs it like communist. Its not who is next in line for the throne,it should be who we vote in. We Americans vote for our President,Congressman,Senators,Mayors,etc... Why does our IUAW think they are so special and keep us out of the process? They decide on their own who gets brought up to an IUAW position. They vote their own raise in (just voted themselves a raise,while denying us one),hire who they want to be their secretaries (like their wives),they all get 2 pensions and make no less than 150,000 a year.

 

They are not for us,we are getting screwed and they have done nothing but use scare tactics on their membership. That is wrong..... We do have the right to denounce our union and vote in another union and all monies,assets transfer over. It is not their money it is ours,the memberships. Hoffa and Teamsters got their membership raises back in 2008 and 2009 when the economy was way worse and the auto companies was taking a bailout. Wake up people and fight.... If this is voted in,we will see our union crash. We will no longer be union. Uaw is almost broke and about to go belly up now. By next contract, their will be no UAW for us to try and get anything back if we dont stand and fight now...

 

Have any of you noticed that after a new contract passes or like back when they opened up the contract to ask for concessions and your local and IUAW would more less tell you to vote yes and then they would tell you,if you dont your plant will close,then after it passes,usually your bargaining chairman all the sudden got a spot up in International?

 

26 million to Mulally just in wages this year,56 million in stocks,24 million to Ford Jr,50+ million in stocks,not including Mark Fields that threatened to leave and go to Toyota,all of salary got raises,bonuses,their 401k matched, IUAW voted themselves a raise but we get nothing,King said no more concessions,our retirees get no xmas bonuses,no raise in pensions. They are asking us to give 10% to Veba,which will average out about 60 million a year. They got around 16 billion from Ford,11 billion from Gm plus a load of shares for the differance,which they own like 36% of GM because of it,they own like 46% of Chrysler because of it. They wasnt underfunded they got the differance in the shares for them to sell,its a conflict of interest for a union to own that much of a company when they are a union. Now they are playing corporate against their own people and still collecting money from us while more less owning the company. They are just like a CEO now. We are getting screwed people. Wake up,stand up and fight.....

I hope the membership really thinks long and hard when they write out that ballot and stuff it in the box, because if you vote yes on this deal, you can't change your vote..

 

Also if this contract passes it will be 51 percent because I have a feeling the fix is in. Now were seeing some of the plants pass it by a vagina hair.. lol this can't be happening. Someone must be jerking these numbers around.

 

I hope our membership is also counting these ballots.

 

Remember if you vote yes, you have to live with yourself the next 4 years, then maybe after a 4 year prison sentence you'll finally wake up!.

If it is close, the membership has the right to request a recount and /or revote and for the ballot to be watched by a bystander or a union brother or sister that you decide. You always have that right at any election in your union to have a bystander or another union member you decide outside of your International or you local reps from who they decide who watches it or runs you voting. Use your rights... Dont let them play their same old bullshit. Read your bylaws and report to your States Labor Department..

 

Save all your flyers that your local sent out to you,thats proof. I have all mine. Copy all your locals post they put on Facebook. I did mine. Copy anything off the internet of your union saying or speaking of the contract. Remember your IUAW saved their face by calling on the local reps to do the strong arming to change your vote but we all know the truth and it will be told.

 

Watch out because we are about to shed the truth and light on you... Dont screw your own people over because it eventually always backfires. Dont think that we are a joke and dont think that we cant denounce you as our union and bring in another.

 

Remember people,all the transplants their trying to unionize are all in right to work states. It is a lost cause... They have spent over 200 million dollars of our strike fund to try and unionize these plants that are in a right to work state. Thats insane and never will happen.Michigan is getting ready to pass their state as a right to work state,if so all your union brothers and sisters up there are screwed and more less will no longer be union....

We was told that Ford would hire replacemant workers and that if it didnt pass then we would be on strike for sure for at least 2 months and Ford then would file bankruptcy cause Ford would lose 6 billion in the 2 months,well supposedly Ford lost 30 billion back in 2008 and 2009 and never filed bankruptcy.. Such shit.. Why would Ford risk filing bankruptcy? All billion dollar companies do everything they can to avoid that. A company does everything they can to protect their shareholders and bondholders and bankruptcy goes against all of them. Such a crock of shit...Read about chapter 11 bankruptcy for corporations. Its the last thing they want to do..

 

Dont threaten us no votes and the yes votes will come to our side when the truth is out. Yes it might be passed at first but it will be challenged and with the truth and the media and public to see...

You can hire skilled trades almost anywhere BUT YOU CAN HIRE 30 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN AUTO INDUSTRY,THIS IS HIGH TECH STUFF ,YOU CAMERA ,LASERS,ROBOTS WELDING ,TROUBLESHOOTER OF EQUIPMENT AND THE SAME GOES FOR PRODUCTION WORKERS WITH 10 OR MORE YEARS EXPERIENCES LET THEM REPLACE THE WRONG ENGINE IN FEW MINUTES AND SAME GOES FOR REAR EXSPENSION AND STUFF ENGINES AND ALL THE LINE UP PROBLEMS ,GOOD LUCK ,SEE YOU IN NUT HOUSE IN A MONTH OR TOO.WHAT ABOUT POLICE ORDER THEY PROMISE ,IF CAN MEET GOODBYE TOO GM

I DID I STARTED READING THE DEVIL IN THE DETAILS ,GOD IS IN THE HIGHLIGHTS

 

There are promises of new jobs. But remember the 2007 contract where Ford promised to save 10,000 jobs – instead we lost 17,300 jobs. If you look closely at the promises of jobs, it is mostly work that Ford was going to do anyway.

 

When the past concessions were taken away from us, they wanted us to believe that when the companies were reporting a profit again, we would get back what we gave up. It was all a lie.

Can't find anything in this agreement that we retain the right to strike, what's up with that?

 

The profit-sharing formula is supposed to be improved, by including North American operations instead of just the U.S. But what is to keep Ford from shifting profits around to hide them? Do you trust Ford? There is also a cap on profit-sharing when there didn't used to be one. And there is no guarantee of getting profit-sharing every year.

 

This contract makes us pay for what Ford did not put into the VEBA. The VEBA is underfunded because Ford only put in 57% of what was needed for retiree health care. Retirees are paying more out of pocket. Instead of making Ford pay for their obligations, this contract would take 10% of any profit-sharing we might get to put into the VEBA.

Hey Chucky, since you have been fired by Ford and don't have a job, do you think you would be one of the replacement workers? Is that why you want us to go on strike so much or have Ford lock us out. People, Chucky is on this site with numerous names always telling you to vote no and go on strike. The guy doesn't work at Ford. He was fired for misconduct. He is trying to take all of you down with him.

Similar numbers will be around for every one of our plants if we are on strike or locked out.

This constant use of the words "Lock out" is a tell tail sign a manager is posting. It implies the company has control of the situation. No one is being locked out of anything. This site is flooded with management, and investors. Look at the tone of the topics being posted. To the hourly's, be scared and do as your told!!!!!!!
