jsellar
is anyone else noticing this? When I'm sitting centered in my seat, looking at the speedo, screens, etc. The steering wheel seems to be a little to the left. To look at the right info screen fully, I have to lean to the left a little. It feels like I have to reach slightly to the left of my body to hold the wheel. It could be just me... maybe I'm crooked. sterlinggray
I have noticed this too. I think it may be intentional.. ?

I think you're crooked. Mine is normal.
neod192
Mine seems centered too. Can you post a picture? Take it from the middle of the headrest.
JSKershaw
I have never experienced this. I think everything looks centered in my car.
NickF1011
I remember that the steering wheel wasn't quite centered on the driver in my old Mazda6 either. Just the way some cars are I guess.
lmp180psu
I am pretty sure my steering wheel is actually offset to the right a bit, so the opposite issue of the original poster. I thought maybe this is intentional, but i guess not. I will confirm soon when i get up.
lmp180psu
Yep, confirm on my drive to work today, that my steering wheel is offset to the right a bit. The Ford symbol on the wheel seems to be centered between the D and L for the gear selection on the instrument cluster, not in line with the N like you would think it would be. Not a big deal, but I thought I noticed it a few weeks ago.
rico567
Interesting how many threads like this crop up on different car forums. My theory would be it's more in the eye of the beholder, but that's just me. For a real example of this, if you go back enough years (more than 20, now) to when the VW Passat was first introduced into the U.S. market, the wheel on that was pretty much angled toward the center of the car. LASooner
Wouldn't it be more accurate to measure the distance from the seat edges to the ford logo? The gear indicator could be installed off center.
