JAMIED Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, My dealer says they haven't gotten a dora in five years and is unsure if they can get me a copy. I have a vin # for the truck and customer service gave me a production and delivery date. Is the dealer correct ? They dont have access to dora's anymore? How do they confirm the order is correct. RangerM Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 You got a copy of the Buyer's order at the time you placed it, correct? I did when I got my Ranger (admittedly 20 years ago). I'm buying a Ford Truck because it's a Ford not for the dealership. Dealers are all the same. I do my own maintenance so I wont see much of the dealer anyway...hopefully. ice-capades Posted February 8, 2014 Share Posted February 8, 2014 After the retail order is placed into the USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) Ford generates the DORA which is sent to the dealership overnight.
