Where is this country really headed?

Recommended Posts

And don't forget Elian Gonzalez. The government is only here to help. They never act wrongly. They never target innocents. They never do anything without regard for the consequences or never act with political optics in mind.

They did the wrong thing in that case? That fat chick was using him for her 15 minutes of fame.

You my friend is what is wrong with this country. Why should the "armed hooligans" be in jail?

For interfering with a legal court enforcement action. The BLM and the federal law enforcement have a court order against Bundy.

Yeah, I'm the problem. Some jackass wants to get over on everyone else because it's good.business for him and you support him.

Did you happen to forget that article 4, section 3, clause 2 exists.

Wake up sleepy head. Nevada became a state back in 1864. The article you have presented covers Territories.

New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new States shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.

The Congress shall have Power to dispose of and make all needful Rules and Regulations respecting the Territory or other Property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be so construed as to Prejudice any Claims of the United States, or of any particular State.

There's nothing unconstitutional about the BLM, the Park service or any other congressionally designated authority setting rules on National land. It's not been found to be unconstitutional and probably never will. Like it or not, the BLM has authority over that land. So if you don't want to pay for it then don't use it.

It’s pretty obvious someone on this board doesn’t get it, or as I said in a previous topic, an Obama shill. Bundy’s family paid for the right to use that land back in the late 1800’s. However, just like you think you own a house, you really don’t. Sure you have a piece of paper which states you do, but just try and not pay your taxes and see where you end up. Even home associations have a certain amount of jurisdiction against you. And don’t forget the government can take your property any time through Eminent Domain. The big picture most recognize here is the difference between Right against Wrong.

As Bundy stated, he was paying the yearly fees as established and the BLM was helping the ranchers, as the department was originally established. As power tends toward corruption, Bundy also said the BLM changed and was trying to destroy the ranchers. Instead of helping them, several were forced out of business through legislation such as the endangered species act. And according to law, everything is just fine.

Who stands to benefit from this? Certainly Senator Reid. His alliance with the Chinese will probably make him upwards of millions of dollars. But the problem is Bundy and his cattle are in the way of making a solar power plant on that land. The Chinese want to buy that land for development which the federal government is eager to sell through our corrupt senator Reid.

Most true American citizens are fed up with Washington’s corruption. The line is being drawn in the Nevada desert. The back down of the BLM is only temporary. They will be back with heavy equipment and more forces. This isn’t even close to an end.

Exactly what you have said! Problem for the government is---------->more, and more people are paying attention, and they aren't liking what they are seeing. And then it also goes back to--------> the Tea Party saying, "see, we told you so," and the progressive mantra still floating through the air.........."we are just trying to heeeeeelp you," which has been proven false with many examples, including Obysmalcare.

While the long term political picture is very grim, the short term for November is looking very good indeed.

Bundy’s family has controlled the land for more than 140 years.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), which is an agency created by Congress, claimed that Bundy was “violating the law of the land.” Perhaps the agency has forgotten that the law of the land is the Constitution, and the only constitutional violation here is the very modern existence of the agency’s presence in Nevada.

Got this in an e-mail a while back, it'll add a little humor to the subject at hand.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "what is politics?"

Dad says, 'well son, let me try to explain it this way:

I am the head of the family, so call me the president.

Your Mother is the administrator of the money, so we call her the Government.

We are here to take care of your needs, so we will call you the people.

The nanny, we will consider her the working class.

And your baby brother, we will consider him the future.

Now think about that and see if that makes sense..'

So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad has said.

Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents room and finds his mother asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding that the door is locked, he peeks through the key hole and sees his father in bed with the nanny.

He gives up and goes back to bed.

The next morning, the little boy says to his father, 'Dad, i think i understand politics now.'

The father says, "good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about."

The little boy replies, "The president is screwing the working class while the government is sound asleep. The people are being ignored and the future is in deep shit!""

http://foxnewsinsider.com/2014/04/15/judge-nap-ranch-standoff-i-was-shocked-see-blm-has-armed-troops

"The BLM is not a military or a law enforcement entity. I was shocked to see that they even have troops, dressed in camouflage and with M16's. It really looked like they were fighting a war against a foreign invader rather than enforcing a judgment against an American," said Napolitano, adding that the federal government cannot claim to have been respecting the First Amendment in this case.

He highlighted the fact that the armed troops cordoned off a small area for protesters to congregate, threatening them with arrest if they left that area. Napolitano said this was an "interference" with the constitutional rights of the protesters to express criticism of the government.
