Dave-S
I wonder if any of these styling queues will ever make it to the American Fusion? I don't like the quilted seats but there are some other upscale touches that would be nice to have on the US version. I really like the single flat panel instrument cluster for speedometer and tach et. al. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yi8aX_h7rVU
jinx8402
US has the MKZ, so no we won't see most of those upgraded interior bits. The Vignale trim was introduced to the EU because Lincoln is not sold overseas. This gives the EU a more luxurious trim level filled by the MKZ over here. akirby
Exactly. In Europe Mondeo is a higher end vehicle than the U.S. Fusion. That might change when Ford takes Lincoln to Europe later.
Chris1970
Three years already for this current body style, I'm sure it will be updated for 2016.
rp2388
the spedometer cluster on the vignale is the same as the one used in non-hybrid MKZs. If there were two things carried to the US from the Mondeo, it would be the hatchback liftgate and the HID/LED headlights but I think those two things would probably pull people away from the MKZ in its current design.
