expresspotato
Hi, Does anyone know how the rear spoiler is attached? Nuts and bolts I would guess, prefer the look without the spoiler but there is no delete option anymore. Even rear trunks from junk yards are still $800 CAD. New from ford is $650 but that's unpainted.Probably way cheaper to remove it, fill in the holes and paint.
cjh
Yeah there are 2-3 bolts on each side holding it down. Edited April 22, 2015 by cjh
expresspotato
Thanks guessed as much, just hoping there's no additional dimples or protrusions to keep it in place.

machoman1337
There won't be. Just a few holes. Do you know if it's possible to "plug" the holes and then paint over them in such a way that they're invisible unless you look really close? My sister is interested in buying a used Titanium but would prefer not to have the spoiler, which unfortunately is present on 100% of the listings she's seen. I would think that it should be possible by using gap filler and then sand, paint, and polish to get it even with the surrounding paint. Titanium comes standard with the spoiler and you need to specifically ask for it without one as an option when ordering from the factory.
