lossTig
I want a commuter car and interested in focus. My friend has a used 2014 focus SE and want to sell it with $13050. For new 2015 focus, I saw the shared price in autopriceshare are just around $16000. I have some questions and hope some focus specialists or owners could give me some advice. 1. Does focus have a big improvement from 2014 model to 2015 model? 2. Are there some Ford official used car certification programs, help to check the situation of used cars? 3. In your opinion, which one is better, used 2014 or new 2015?

fuzzymoomoo
The biggest improvement between the 14 and 15 focus is the programming of the transmission. Other than that performance is pretty much the same between the two. I would go with the 14 in this scenario though. You're getting more for the $$$$$ (and it really pains me to say that) Edited May 1, 2015 by fuzzymoomoo

630land
15's have less road noise, but better off getting a bargain used '14. Dealers will sell same used car for more.
fuzzymoomoo
15's have less road noise is that so? I didn't realize they changed enough with the refresh to make a difference in road noise
