It's powerful, but with an 8/9 speed it would have been much faster (Ford should have gotten ZF's 9 speed for Lincoln until their own version was done). But I was thinking more along the lines of a Plug-in Hybird. Something that would have been first to market. A PIH version would have sold very well on the West coast and giving Lincoln an identity, and beat Japanese and the Germans. I'd use the 2.3L Eco as the basis for the hybrid system.
