jpd80
Recently, Bosch has announced new Exhaust tech that lowers diesel emissions to one thenth of current regulation limits (Euro 6?) If true, this could be right up the alley of US models getting more diesels or at least bullet proofing them. I do hope that Ford finds a use for the 4.4 V8, could be a great export engine, make Expedition into a Land Cruiser V8 competitor internationally and also Navigator into a "Range Rover"... SoonerLS
The moment a 6.6 Duramax ... gets offered in an SUV, buyers will appear. Only the masochists. If the Duramax in this gutless wonder of a Chebbie Express Cargo 2500 I've been stuck in for the last two months is any indication, a Suburban 2500 outfitted with it would be a freaking *dog*. The Transit 350s in the fleet do significantly better. Edited May 2, 2018 by SoonerLS
Sevensecondsuv
Haha. My brother's got a Duramax in a 5500 bucket truck and that thing is a total dog too. Meanwhile the 2500 pickups with the duramax will do a good Camero impersonation. I think the vans and commercial apps get derated big time...
