Michael Reynolds
http://www.smh.com.au/news/news/commodore-...9337322009.html Makes me wonder if it will be a repeat of the GTO  Maybe the next Grand Prix or G(insert number here). Good for the General, the Commodore should be leaps and bounds better than the current W platform.
NickF1011
I wouldn't say it's the same situation as with the last GTO. All of these "Commodores" will actually just be vehicles built on the global Zeta architecture, and likely will be produced for North America at the Oshawa Assembly Plant alongside the new Camaro. Just because Australia uses the platform first, doesn't really mean the North American versions are "based on the Commodore".
Roadrunner
I'm thinking it's the worthy replacement for the Grand Prix -- call it a "G8" and give it a V8.
NickF1011
I'm thinking it's the worthy replacement for the Grand Prix -- call it a "G8" and give it a V8. Did you know "Grand Prix" is the longest continuous-running model name in North America? All these alpha-numeric names are ridiculous. Killing the Grand Prix name is sad, but I'm sure you're right about it becoming "G8".
