I remember the Sandy Munro review of systems on the MME discussed with one of the lead engineers. That answered a lot f questions, the gaggle of pumps and coolant pipes were a result of adapting existing C2 sourced  PHEV cooling system to the MME, Munro was advised that Ford already had plans to reduce the complexity of that after the initial rollout. 
 

The best part about MME is that it was a rescue of the e C-Max which was going to be an absolute dud as Europe was already moving from  those dumpy looking proportions. Shame there  wasn’t a companion car (Mustang Capri?) to give the Tesla 3 a run for its money…….

Yep.  That’s why I proposed the guaranteed MSRP order model.  Dealers can make way more than ever before with that model and no real work.
