In the past few days, I've been getting crashes and kicked out of the BOF.

 

Anyone else having problems?

It's been an issue for many of us and the site owner has been notified.

We were just told they’re making changes as we speak so we’ll see if it improves.

No improvement in site performance. Very often I'm logged on to the site, reading new posts and/or preparing to submit a post, and get kicked out due to the connection and traffic issues. I can usually anticipate that the site is about to crash when it starts taking longer than usual periods of time for submitted post replies to actually post, etc. On average, I get kicked out 6-8 times a day. Nice.

Having trouble finding a new hosting provider that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg.

Keep seeing 'max connections' db errors today.    I'd say go with vBulletin if it is in the same price range.
