dsnider8818 Posted April 28 Share Posted April 28 So I just purchased a 00 Continental. One of the things that drew me to it (aside from the price) was that it had the 4V 4.6. I noticed though that it was only rated at 275 hp while the Marauder and Cobra had over 300. Does anyone know what is different in the engines that accounted for the other 25+ HP? Is it just a simple tune or is there more to it? Im not looking to make crazy power or anything, but if I could make 300hp relatively easily without sacrificing much in the way of reliability then Im about it. Too much power going to the front wheels will cause torque steer. Also mentioned the transmission probably couldn't handle that much more power.
