who would of thought that selling a 70K EV van would be problematic?!

with that said, anyone have any idea how Amazon is making out with their rivian vans? It seems like they had a ton in my area, then they disappeared for 6-8 months and I finally saw one a few weeks ago in my area.

They are starting to show up in my area...Central NY between Syracuse and Utica.

I saw a few out in California, and then I've seen one or two here in SFL, but not as widespread as I expected.

I think Rivian/Amazon recently ended the exclusive part of those Rivian vans.

Regarding the Brightdrops - I know they were going for a "separate from GM new company look at us" idea, but I think it was a mistake not to put them under the Chevy/Express branding to begin with.  They should've been Express (with the E and top of the X in blue to recreate EV) with a numeric after.

IMO it’s doubtful that promised cost savings for switching to EV commercial vehicles are achievable.  Unless companies are forced to buy these BrightDrop vans, why would they?  Some companies will buy EV vans to portray an environmental image, but it feels that market-place pressure has subsided somewhat over last couple of years.  Even though I support environment conservation, when I get my home air conditioner serviced I don’t value whether the service truck is BEV or ICE.  There are more important things to worry about, especially now.
