  1. Truth be told, Ford id very tight lipped about what is coming. With a little luck, Ford has a 69 Boss 429 inspired EV coming out for 2024 also. But we are probably not that lucky. We will end up with another Mach E looking ho hum car.
  2. If it's the same length as the 2022, there are 7" between the 1969 and 2022 Chargers. About the distance of that tunneled grille. Pretty insignificant difference size wise.
  3. I still haven't even found any trim on a lot. I'm going to end up ordering one before I see one up close. I waited last year hoping to check out one at a dealer, but no luck. I'm sure the quality is much better than the 70's seats which lasted about 60-70K miles.
  4. LOL, OK. Look at the screenshot a couple posts up. That is Ford's website. Don't believe me? Go to the Mav page on Ford.com and select Lariat.
  5. True, but then you are paying twice for upgraded seat covers just to get leather once. At that point the XLT cloth is fine.
  6. I'd consider the Lariat if it had real leather. Vinyl seats is not something I will buy.
  7. Does the Tremor package come with real leather?
  8. They went the right direction for me in 2018 with a lower more aggressive front end. To me the first S550's looked too much like a fusion in front. Ford has said they wanted the next Mustang to be a poster car. I fail to see an improvement towards that goal. The design shown looks like a love child of a 2015 Mustang, a new Camaro and Charger. The black grille plastic at the bottom of the grille looks hideous, like it's wearing braces. Very glad I bought the 18, I just don't see any reason to desire the next gen at all.
  9. I guess I skip this round then. Ford has said they want this to be a poster car. The only poster this will be on is a missing poster. The car everyone wants on a poster is missing here.
  10. Ford has not confirmed this as a final production car. I truly hope it's not.
  11. And it's just a rendering. Ford has not released the actual final pictures yet.
  12. US average today is $4.01. Chicago area is $4.78 average, but a station 2 miles from me is $4.05
  13. The front view only appears identical at first glance. Looking for a few seconds you can see the more aggressive downward slant on the top of the 18 up, and can clearly see the outer parts are very different.
  14. Those are definitely not for everyone. I'll keep the 18 lights.
  15. A dollar cheaper than 45 days ago. Chicago area price average is $5.00 a gallon, with the cheapest at $3.99 now.
  16. I appreciate your updates here, and trust your info more than a dealer. Most dealerships are clueless 2/3'rds of the time.
  17. Same here. Love the aggressive look of the 18 and up compared to the Fusionish 2015-17 cars. 2018 checked all the boxes.
  18. Store them in your wife's purse. Sorry, I had to say it.......
