  1. Then why is CCP Wuflu still spreading? No conspiracies Just common sense questions. So our actions to stop the spread of CCP Wuflu has stopped seasonal flu, but not the CCP Wuflu itself? Really?
  2. Here is one for Facts, not Fiction: I am really angry about the phrase; "...our democracy..." that is used at least a dozen times in every President-Elect Harris/Biden speech. And used over and over by Pelosi, and Schumer, and many other political leaders. To me this falls into the old trick: Repeat a lie over and over, and it becomes the truth. They want to destroy the Electoral College because after all, it is "our democracy" (mobocracy). The term 'Democracy' translated from Greek, meaning 'the people to rule', is not to be found in the Constitution of the United States. The Constitution of the United States reads: "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a republican form of government" A Republic is fundamentally different from a Democracy, as our founding fathers recognized that our unalienable rights should not be violated by an unrestrained majority any more than by an unrestrained monarch. Even the new Lib hero Alexander Hamilton (amazing what a Broadway show can do for history) wrote: "We are a Republican Government, Real liberty is never found in despotism or in the extremes of Democracy" James Madison, the 'Father of the Constitution' had very harsh words for democratic (democracy) forms of government in The Federalist #10. I believe it is time to undo the lie of '...our democracy' and get back to preaching the truth that our country is not, and was never intended to have 51% have total rule over 49%, and that the voice of the minority is guaranteed by a republican form of government and constitutional law. "A Republic, if you can keep it" - Benjamin Franklin, 1787 This is a Fact! Ok - let 'em rip!
  3. I remember seeing that also - Seasonal Flu, which affects 20% of America each year, and kills up to 45k people annually, is virtually non-existent this year! We are being played in a shell game beyond anything anyone would have thought possible. There are no conspiracies, there are no coincidences.
  4. There are no conspiracies, and there are no coincidences. That only leaves my gut and common sense - both tell me we are being screwed.
  5. Easy to do and flawless execution of the plan... Easy.mp4
  6. Answer: Ford should go for market share and conquest sales in segments they make a profit. Going after the 135K buyers dropping big bucks on a 4Runner is hardly dropping the standard. The millions of Toyota fanboys would say the 4Runner is an 'upgrade' from an Explorer. It's not like Ford is getting rid of the handsome Explorer to go after the big number of gaudy fans, there just offering one that is a tad gaudy - give the customer what they want.
  7. First thing that popped into my mind also. I live in the Colorado Front Range, the land of the mega-popular 4Runner. To my eye, this is clearly aimed at that 4Runner customer who somehow confuses 'gaudy' with 'rugged'. While it's not my style, there are lots of buyers out there who fit this look. I'm glad to see Ford go directly at a major competitor like this.
  8. That classic paint job and those classic bright slotted wheels will never cut it today...has to be some shade of gray with black wheels to be cool to this crowd. Actually I really like that - paint and classic slotted bright wheels...I'm old school, no apologies.
  9. The only non-color for me is the pure Oxford White (non-beighe tint). Anything on the non-color scale below optic white- including fifty shades of silver/gray, all the way to black is not for me. Personal choice - no apologies. I think some vehicles look good in silver, like the Explorer, then I see it in a color and it looks much better to my eye. My Explorer is Dark Cherry Metallic (Code HH) My F-150 is Moonlight Blue (Code KM) I think the Magma Red is the coolest truck color now
  10. James Bond drives whatever the company that paid big bucks for movie product placement says he drives. In whatever grayscale non-color the advertising money says his ride must be.
  11. I think some dads who stayed off the naughty list might get their Bronco on Christmas morning. Lot's of good dads I presume because there was only 1 left!
  12. I really enjoy just relaxing for a bit and watching the Mecum auctions, just to see all the amazing real colors from the past.
  13. Buying and wearing a Chinese mask violates my #2 rule of common sense: If your problem and your solution come from the same place, there is a 100% chance you are being screwed. Most politicians, say 99%, fall into the #2 rule category as well. Here is my made in USA Mask.
  14. I will be curious to see how the very clever Japanese and Korean manufacturers find a workaround to this. Our supply chains with China simply cannot be trusted. I am not sure why anyone ever trusted them in the first place...
  15. Right! Exactly! Bingo! Because Chinese batteries, and solar panels manufactured using techniques that would be environmentally unacceptable here, and shipping them across the world on filthy polluting trans-oceanic ships makes ignorant Americans think they are saving all of us from global warming. I swear common sense is completely gone from everyday society.
  16. I understand this is how the world works today. I wish more stuff was made in the USA buy USA based companies. If Mexico assembly is the hard-fast result of Trade Agreements, then Ford should spin Mexico and Canada assembly like Toyota does and tag the vehicles: Assembled in North America by Ford Motor Company. All these foreign brand fan-boys running around claiming how the Japanese cars are 'More American' and do not realize that many are assembled in Mexico and labeled or reported as "North America".
  17. This is what makes customers LOVE their vehicles. Not so-called 'reliability', not all the stuff consumer reports and the other auto rags nitpick about. The number 1 single greatest factor for customer satisfaction in a vehicle is how it makes the driver feel. Looks like the Bronco Sport nailed it!
  18. But their Ike Gauntlet test is the 'real deal' truck test, and probably the single most relevant test of any truck and how it is capable of performing in the real world, anywhere. I know, I live here and climb that 7 miles all the time.
  19. I know a lot here have a problem with TFL, but try and factor that out... If a dealership cannot or will not provide a fully operational NEW truck they promise to deliver, along with all disclosures, etc, AND a somewhat pleasant buying experience on a vehicle at this price, then what the heck does a dealer even exist for? I know they are protected by 100-year-old laws, but it is time to move forward. Buying a vehicle is the ONLY thing we do today the same as we did 100 years ago. Imagine going to the Dr and having them provide 100-year-old medical practices. I remember back a bit in the forum here the lady complaining about the tailgate on her Lincoln after many visits to the dealer -It's a freaking LINCOLN for gosh sakes, just fix the damn thing. Why is this ok and considered acceptable for Auto Dealers, but we would never accept it for buying anything else? Imagine buying a high-end ($$$$) leather couch for example, and finding it to be defective after it was delivered to your home, and highly inconvenient to return? Call the store and they tell you - "...well, too bad; 'Caveat Emptor'..."
  20. 'Buyer beware' (caveat emptor) an expression that goes back to ancient Roman times, and in my opinion, very unfortunate at a modern auto dealership. Anyone buying a high-end vehicle (or any high-end product) at a price like this should be treated like a much-welcomed guest. They should have nothing short of a great customer experience, and not have to worry about anything going wrong at the point of sale.
  21. We already have term limits across the board, they are called 'elections'. The term limit should be at the primary level, where a party should not present the same candidate over and over and expect the voters to just go along party lines even when their party's candidate is not so great. A great example here in Colorado this past November. We knew incumbent Cory Gardner could not beat the highly popular ex-governor John Hickenlooper, but the republicans put Gardner up anyway as the incumbent, instead of a young, bright candidate with the presence and charisma to attract new voters. The problem is not term limits, it is un-informed and un-apprised voters. Voters just don't take things seriously. It won't change until the voters tell their own party that the people demand better...
  22. I have this hanging on the cork board above the desk where my teenager does her homework: Dad's Rules of Common Sense If someone has it in for you, walk away and leave them alone. You can't win. If your problem and solution come from the same source, there is a 100% chance you are getting screwed. The simplest explanation is usually the right one. If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging! She knows them by heart. Interesting thing about rule #1, she is half way to her Black Belt, and she lives by that rule. They teach as much discipline at the studio as they do on how to defend yourself.
  23. A really smart friend of mine told me 5 years ago - you think you have seen the damage of an evil giant Corporation (wars, oil spills, embezzling of retirement funds)? Monopoly on oil is NOTHING compared to the monopoly on INFORMATION. He flatly predicted we were in no way, shape, or form prepared for what we are about to experience. He was 100% correct.
  24. I believe this is the biggest news story of the whole fiasco. One that is 'insensitive' and not politically correct to report by the MSM. One would think that 'common sense' would send a call to action for the 'general population' to get into some reasonable level of fitness and health.
