If you can afford the diesel - go for it. The residual value will be much higher than a gasser - you actually don't lose any money on the diesel - you gain. Go to e-bay and look at retail prices of older Super Duties... the proof is in the pudding.

Ford has made a big mistake and ultimately it will hurt them for this ugly Super Duty cosmetic design. You can profess they "know that they're doing" all you want... but I'm afraid you'll find out that this '08 design style was a bad decision and will have a bad affect on their bottom line. Companies who purchase the trucks as work trucks, don't give a rats ass about the cosmetics - so you're right, it won't affect that portion of the market... however, it is going to have a strong impact on personal purchases. I want Ford to succeed. I have a 2003 Super Duty and it was my intention to get an '08, based on the hope and assumption that the Tonka truck was going to be built. The '08s don't even come close.

I don't think the space increase warrants ripping out your interior. I have a center console... and it has more space than the armrest storage... but if I had a choice again... I'd pick what you currently have as opposed to the bucket seats. (Assuming that's what you're doing.)

That's nuts... try having a keyless entry and a push-button start for 1 day and you'd want it... trust me. I get in my truck now and forget that I need to use the key. Yikes... Ford = outdated.

FMC should of had for foresight to build the Tonka Super Duty... and not this butt ugly excuse of a truck. I see no appeal whatsoever in a truck with an ugly front end, a side that looks like a 2000 Super Duty and an interior that falls short of what GMC/Chevy are putting out.

I think the 08 Super Duty trucks look like crap. The headlight configuration is horrid. The rest of the truck looks too much like the old one... WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TONKA TRUCK???????
