    What is a Mazda 626? Anyway, there is no excess capacity at Hermosillo. And, by the time any of this would happen, Ford probably would not be using that platform anymore. Remember, the Fusion triplets will be made on the same platform as the Mondeo.

    My reaction to that would be to ask the service advisor how much he weighed. If he was 150 lbs. or over, ask him to hop in for the next 150,000 miles.

    I agree. As long as the boots are replaced before they totally deteriorate and let water in, the CV's should last the life of the vehicle.

    Ford must be pretty dumb then, as you say. Didn't they release a couple of Special Edition trucks for the '08 model year?

    My favorite was the one where the service advisor told the owner to put 150lbs. of weight in the bed to get it to stop.

    You have to take a 5 cent crayon and write the goofy KPH numbers onto the speedometer, and you should be good to go!

    Under that logic, the UAW is a multi-teared union then. You would have to include every classification that results in different pay, plus the different skilled pay.

    I'd consider the X for a replacement of my Explorer, if we decide that we don't want our trailer anymore. The Flex looks like it is going to be overpriced for my tastes. I also think the Taurus would look better with the X's snout, with a color keyed grille option.

    You mean the exact same greenhouse and interchangeable doors? Doh! How could I have missed that!

    Yeah. I liked the 3.5 in the MkZ better than the 3.0/I4 in the Fusion. Still the same car. The MkZ is just another trim level. I consider it to be the Fusion SVT.

    I've driven both of my dad's Fusions, and the MkZ lease he turned in a few months ago. I know what is different, and what isn't. How many of them have you driven?

    Yeah. Because we all know a different engine and front clip makes a totally different car. Just ask GM with it's 5 new CUV's. :rolleyes:

    There is no doubt in my mind that Ford will have a VEBA, along with GM. Chrysler on the other hand.......
