    This is a 2012 car! First time produced off of a plant with all new equipment. The car will be worth the wait..We are running smoother with every day that passes. We are working 6 & 7 days a week to get your car to you.

    We are now building about 400 per day....I should not be long now. If you drive buy the plant you will see hundreds of them in the front storage lot. Many are stored off site on rented space. I actually work in the final assy plant and, we are running pretty steady now.

    yep,I noticed alot of them roaming around last night. We had an issue like this at MTP years ago. Politics at its finest!

    our production is starting 10hrs today. I have seen them shipping on car carriers last week so, I shouldn't be too long now.

    CMAX is to be built at MAP. We have already seen the bodies in the plant.

    I have seen the body's in our plant at MAP. Wayne,MI haven't seen any fully assembled yet.

    Very sharp color..I see it everyday at the plant. I would change my order if I were you or, wait untill the dealer gets a few. It is a nice color.

    I am in the plant everyday. We have not started to build units for customer delivery yet. Built about 400 units for testing. Very sharp cars!

    We are going to start production of units for resale on 1/3/11. We are building test units now,with about 400 units made. THEY ARE SHARP!

    I do not believe its Ford's investment. I believe it's the solar power company investment and, your tax dollars at work.

    Nothing but rumors so far. I do notice that they are installing some type of solar equipment in the east parking lot.

    Friday will be the last day for production at the WAP. We will be moving to the rebuilt MAP plant in Jan, building the new Focus. Been a great run!

    If you lift the front emblem there is a key access to open the hood.

    Hopefully this plant will keep us working for a few years. I noticed a A123 systems plant setting up on Cogswell and Ecorse Rd. They are a battery supplier for electric cars.

    Got to sit in some of the finished models yesterday. WOW, the seats are great and, the interior is awesome. They do not have any window stickers on them and, probably won't till full production models start to roll out. Trey are a very nice car!

    Yes, I know all that but, I got to try and, keep the people buying American built product. I also know that alot of the content of the focus is not American.

    It is a smaller car made in Mexico, for a equal or higher price. Would not make much since to buy one to me. KEEP AMERICA WORKING
