  1. Based on what I've read, it sounds like AWD should be available on the 2.0EB Edge. It appears to be standard with the 3.5 or 2.7EB.
  2. Eh, if you live in parts of the south, no need to waste the few hundred bucks for heated seats. The EATC is a bit odd though, agreed. But still, it offers things the Titaniums don't, even as options. There's going to be some small level of overlap comparing the absolute base CLA with an absolutely loaded Titanium Ford.
  3. Some of the things that are standard on the Titanium level Fords aren't standard on Lincolns or any other luxury cars for that matter. Some options are just that: options, as in some people probably don't want to pay extra for them, regardless of whether they are buying a luxury car or not.
  4. Guessing MKX will likely trail the Edge by at least 6 months.
  5. Standard on the highest trim level of Fusion, not standard period. Nothing particularly odd about that.
  6. Ehhhh. I would still put the CLA a rung above anything offered under the Ford brand. Even in base trim it offers some standard features you can't get on the Focus or Fusion at all: 14-way power drivers seat, 7-speed transmission, collision prevention, and attention assist.
  7. Doesn't look much different than the sidewalls on my Edge Sport.
  8. All signs point to yes on OAP building it. No reason to build them both. You're only talking ~10,000 units a month. And it's not called Impala.
  9. Well, to be fair, the production version has not been shown yet. Of course, the concept looked 95% there already anyway.
  10. in the US they aren't really buying either. Does the G-class even sell 100 units a month here?
  11. True. The level of transparency seems to be quite a bit better so far. We'll see if it sticks.
  12. Well, minor setback in that the place that thought they had the brake light switch striker actually did not, so I'm back to searching again. Urgh. Waiting to hear back from one last place. If they are a bust then it looks like we'll have to find a fabricator to just make us one. Fortunately it doesn't appear to be a particularly complicated part to replicate. Hopefully will give the engine another go sometime this weekend as well. The new fuel filter has arrived after a wait on back order, so hopefully nothing else will break under the hood. *crossing fingers*
  13. Actions speak louder than words. Only time will tell. Having a hotline is one thing. Actually acting on anything reported to the hotline is another.
  14. The real question is whether these issues will continue on the vehicles that are launched from this point forward. If they do, then what has really changed?
  15. I don't think the sales volume would be there. XC-90 isn't particularly large either, which would probably put it too closely size-wize to the MKX. Given the Explorer's undoubted success, I don't see why that formula should be strayed from too far.
  16. Probably not. And that was a marvel the world over at the time it was built.
  17. You mean like the MKT already is? Very likely they will get a large Explorer-based CUV to replace that.
  18. Impressive what you can accomplish with zero regulations, an endless supply of near slave labor, and no regard to worker safety or the environment.
  19. Speculative articles like this usually don't amount to much anyway. Anything that Lincoln IS planning in those areas is still likely a few years off and not in stone, so why would anyone verify if those programs exist or not? Makes for headlines though I guess.
  20. I already suggested that people look at the homepage of the NCAI, the oldest and largest representative group for native Americans. Actually, they have. A simple google search will reveal that. Add in some others like the Boston Celtics as well. Honestly? Yeah, I can see how those would be offensive to native Americans as well. Just because they've been around a long time doesn't mean they're okay.
  21. In other words, the difference is statistically irrelevant given the short sample period.
  22. Frankly, it wasn't even a response as a moderator. It was a response as someone who does find the site interesting. If he doesn't, then why should anyone care if he leaves?
  23. Which is it? 5 or 20? I would be willing to bet that premiums previous to Obamacare were increasing on average at least 5-10% per year as it was already.
