does any one know when the last ranger will roll off the line? well mabey ford will do what dodge did with the durango? not have it around for a year or two

I found the first photoshop on a chevy forum. i like it but i do not like the fake focus vent and the fuel door in the rear fender. the second one some one on therangerstation.com photoshop this one to look like a reg cab and got rid of the fuel door and the focus vent. is there any other ideas on what the 2012 ranger looks like?

have a 97 ranger...on my 3rd 3.0....first one spun a bearing at 154,000 miles...second one i sucked in about a gallon and half of water threw the intake.....bent 2 rods one of them had a crack in it....the 3rd one is the second block with 2 pistons and rods from the first one and has new rod bearing and all seam fine and working great now

well wont they just put the side air bag in the seat....i see those in newer cars all the time] and we can have a new small pick up truck...as long is it is called a ranger...i think ford will at least keep the name

hey i am 23 with an 87 ranger with a 302 swap. a 90 ranger with a 4.o swap and a stock 97 with a 3.0 and will have some else besides that...and i guess i am out of style too...hmmm all i know that is all i wil own is the rangers...i have a 95 bronco and a 2000 zx2 s/r..both great autos..but i have to stick with my rangers!!!!!

wel think about it...there was ranger with an exploder badging on it....i have seen some gen one rangers with explorer on the box....and the bronco 2 was a good truck...and the 91 sploders was ust a bronco with 4 doors and a 4 littler instead of a 2.9...almost every thing else is swappble

the SD is just damn right ugly....and a small vertion of the SD called ranger would make the ranger dead in a heart beat...but good work though

hmm history of the sploder starts off as a trim package on the f-150..then goes to the ranger....or you can look at it and the sploder was called the bronco 2...they add two doors,bigger motor. so funny things to the rear...then they add a new front suspention.....and it is kind of a RBV...then it goes to IRS and gets bigger...now it is going to go unibody....hmm looks to me that the sploder well be a little hatchback when ford decides to take it to the back field and kill it like they have with many other good car names

lets look at the stuff....dealers have nothing in stock....the new fords or boring anf fugly...and for any thing decent you have to give up your first boren child.....if you want a ranger...go used...i can pick up some nice gen 1s with the great 2.9...put an other 50,000 on in and throw it away when i am done...but even thought i still have my first one i love the ranger....i want it to stay....people loved the broncos...but they are gone.....land owners are gettin really meen about people going on there land....so that leaves the off road area kind of in the dark.....the feds want poeple to basicly have a modle t...something boreing and safe....all go the same direction so that we dont hurt our selfs.....we as in the u.s. are getting to soft...to many damn yuppies....we will not get what we want...we will get that they want use to have....if you think about it....we are slowly gettin surpressed ok rants over

i saw look back at it roots,,the 2.9 was 140 horse power..yes i know it is less then the 3.0 but its torue is more than the 3.0 at a lower rpm...it was a truck engine.....put in a truck engine to replace the 3.0....make that it's biggest motor...and have a 4banger turbo diesle...and have the suspention set up like the new f150s with coil over....make it more like a truck than what it is turning into...a car that is why i will stay with my gen 1 and 2 rangers...they are trucks...hel the doors sound like a truck when you close them...nd they are simple.....make the truck a truck and non car crap

have to remeber...if htey put in a v8..it will have to be a mis size ruck..and the compac truck will be no more...the ranger was made for the fuel crisses in the 80s...came with a 2.0 4 banger the first year then a 2.8 v6...105 hp...25+ mpg 2.9 140 hp 25+ mpg then you got the 4.0 ohv 165 hp maby 20mpg 4.0 sohc 205 hp 17 mpg on a good day?...were as a 2.9 will turn 32s...with 3.73 gears and still get 23mpg.... so think ford needs to go back with the roots of the range...drop in the 3.5...make the hp guys happy...and m,ake the gas savy guys happy

dude no..the 2008 escape is nasty.....have it kinda look like the gen 1 ranger 83-88 years...but with round light?... no keep that but get rid of the crome make the marker lights a tad diffrent...maby a diffrent spot...and get rid of the crome...
