  1. ????? no way this tard of a lazy piece of shit was elected....... Guess b crew gets fucked again....just like normal.
  2. New hires will start at around $15 an hour, though I don't know any new hires. We have mostly super temps right now. They will move up in pay and top out at about $20-$25/hr. The work force can only consist of 20% at lower tier. Once that is met, the highest seniority second tier will move up to top tier when people in that tier retire.
  3. Its funny and stupid to see these topics pop up every four years.... You have the anti-union people posting their hate for the the UAW and the workers. Then you have the extreme pro-union people posting that we are going to get x, y, and z or else. The funny thing is, every contract has just been a rehash of the previous one. We MIGHT get a few things back (COLA, x-mas bonus) but for the most part its going to be exactly what we have now with a few minor tweaks (work rule changes in exchange for COLA, bonus) So all of you fight and piss each other off all you want....I got tired of these topics a long time ago.....I'm going to go to work every day like I do now and MIND MY OWN BUSINESS....Later.
  4. We build about 3-5 Raptors per hour or around 30-50 per shift. I know for about 3-4 days a couple of weeks ago all we were building were Lobo Raptors (going south of the border). Most of the raptors being built right now are crew cabs with a few super cabs thrown in here and there. One more thing to remember. Dearborn truck was down for a week while we waited for parts for the 5.0 engines. So right now we are about 6-7k trucks behind in production.
  5. It's tools like you that have flooded these forums the last year or two that have ruined them. You do nothing but add to the public stereotype of an auto worker as being uncivil and uneducated.
  6. Don't usually come off like that?? Seems like you come off like that very often, and you were just warned about it the other day. Get some anger management or just stay off the internet. ....And YES, it snows in Michigan in the winter. Get use to it. Don't want to drive to work in it fine.....But there is no need to go all "e-thug" on your co-workers for showing up. Christ, topics like this one and all the political ones (as well as others)...No wonder I don't come to employee section much anymore.....
  7. The front plate mount goes on the driver side where the plastic bumper piece would normally go.
  8. its closer to about 1200 trucks a day And yes DTP is idle this week for lack of engines.
  9. They will probable start shipping in December....Job1 is November 3.
  10. In final we have no more then eight people on our route (nine including the relief man). For afternoons: First break is 20min. 1. 6:30-6:50 2. 6:51-7:11 3. 7:12-7:32 4. 7:33-7:53 5. 7:54-8:14 6. 8:15-8:35 7. 8:36-8:56 8. 8:57-9:17 R. 9:18-9:38 Second break is 10min 1. 9:39-9:49 2. 9:50-10:00 3. 10:01-10:11 4. 10:12-10:22 5. 10:23-10:33 6. 10:34-10:44 7. 10:45-10:55 8. 10:56-10:06 R. 10:07-10:17 Lunch is at 11:25 Last break (time call between 12:00 and 12:20) 20min for 10 hours: 1. 12:25-12:45 2. 12:46-1:06 3: 1:07-1:27 4. 1:28-1:48 5. 1:49-2:09 6. 2:10-2:30 7. 2:31-2:51 8. 2:52-3:12 R. 3:13-3:33 End of shift is 4am
  11. Last I heard job 1was set for November 3, which means the trucks will hit the lots about month after that (quality hold).
  12. I'll jump in here Pioneer...We have run all 3 engines through the system. Last I heard, balance out of the 2010's will be the end of October (we are supposed to be off for a couple of days then so they can switch out the rad fill to the "new" formula). The Eco boost will not be available until after the first of the year its going to be a 2011 1/2 model. Not sure if this has been brought up or talked about, but the 5.0 has no power steering pump.......
  13. Well I have not heard an actual date yet, but we have been running our pre-launch trials through the system for 3 weeks now. I would have to say it will be a normal September launch. It might be the 3.5 EB that launches in November. We have not seen those yet, just the 3.7 and 5.0.
  14. This is getting out of hand. You try to enforce the law and people cry"racism" or 'everybody deserves a chance"...and my favorite...WE WERE ALL IMMIGRANTS...Yes, most were...My great grandfather came to the U.S. on a boat and went through the proper channels when he docked in New York. We have no problem with immigrants...We have a problem with ILLEGAL immigrants... On a side note...gotta give points to the guy running for gov. in Alabama...wants everything in ENGLISH...
  15. Had a bunch of raptors loaded up on haulers when we were leaving yesterday....So it looks like they are going to start shipping them. :burnout:
  16. As well as on this forum (more so at contract time)
  17. Just love the yota lemmings who cry conspiracy. Not to mention the ones that keep saying put it in neutral. If it's an electric shifter (which most of these yotas are) it CAN'T shift when going at driving speed. The computer assumes its a mistake or accident and leaves it in drive....Hows it feel to brainwashed by toyota you lemmings??
  18. You get an additional 40 hours. Each shift works 4/10's with no o.t.
  19. I think the issue is getting the KCAP's afternoon shift moved over to suv side for 3 crew operations...We don't need 5 shifts building F-150's, and the escape could use the extra production right now.
  20. But he had to use sub weeks...
  21. 5.0 is coming...Don't know how many valves it will have.
  22. We were going to build one an hour...It's been bumped to two an hour now (40 a day). Hopefully you (and Ford) are right.
