How is it that people can be out on American roads and not know that the car can't speed up if the transmission isn't engaged? This Sikes fellow that sped up to 90 mph never ONCE thought to disengage the transmission by slipping it into neutral?
Sorry to hear that he passed, but when I read the title, all I could think of was the scene from The Hangover when they're on they're way to Vegas and Allan says "Rain Man practically bankrupted a casino and he was a rah-tard".

The article doesn't specifically say it will add horsepower, but do you think the 6.2 will be up to Camaro and Corvette power levels in the truck?
The wait is over. That's good news and a load off my mind. I wasn't expecting 315 HP like earlier speculation, so I'm glad that it isn't under 295. I wonder if power will be bumped with a higher octane?
I kind of like it. From the little I can see in the teaser shot, there's a kink that looks like a fender slit just after the front wheels. It made me think four-door viper. Pick up that theme and run with it and it might be pretty cool looking.
He's a fan of diesels and he's calling GM consumers idiots? I like the guy already.
Diesels are fuel efficient both in the city and on the highway plus they're cheaper and less complicated than hybrids. The only people that would buy the volt would be those who hate going to gas stations and only drive 40 miles a day plus have expendable income.
I remember seeing that article, the V6 is an aluminum block iirc so proabably lighter than the V8, but as quick as an M3 I don't know. Maybe I'm imagining things but I remember reading speculation of turbo whine coming from the car.
