( and Im not sure even Tesla ids lighting sales numbers on fire, so to an extent things are economy based ) ..not to mention profitability

it has been a BIG issue inthe Transit Connects....and replacements are $$$$$$...

lol...understand that...but what does a Ranger start at now?.....and actually the 2.3 motor with the stick shift was absolutely unbreakable...I believe the same engine resided in the Tempo and was avarient of the Pinto drivetrain!....as for problematic engine...probably pertainiung to the 3.0 perhaps, I know of a few owners that had issues ...but problems werent a guarantee...my boy drove his for 300,000 miles.....and it STILL runs...

lol...sadly we veiw the Maverick as "affordable"...this may give away how long Ive been in the business, but I recall we had Rangers advertised ( no A/C ) stick shift std cabs advertised for $8995........scary...probably explains my crotchety nature at times...lol.

remember a BIG part of BEVs gleam is the questionable Global Warming/ Climate change alarmists that deem BEVs as one of the holy grails to Earth reparations.....another set of subjects that Mainstream Media/ GOVT has focused on given its polarizing subject matter...more clicks more Advertisng revenue...screw it if certain subjects that dont support the writers narrative are conveiniently glossed over or end up on the editing floor...

not to mention the Hybrid would eject the horribly trouble prone 8 speed transmission!

from my standpoint we cant keep our hands on any of them, but theres significantly more interest and calls on the Hybrids....and the prices the used Hybrids are fetching is ridiculous

money and political affiliation would be my guess...one only has to look at an outlets owner, and which Political Party they contribute to, to know which way their narrative will err......and THATS sad as people/ voters are easily manipulated, news IS party line propaganda now...apologies if im de-railing this, but in my mind BEVsare in fact a Political Chess piece appeasing and pandering to a certain "block" of voters...

accountability for innaccuracy on the public stage promoting BS may/ would help curtail half of the bull$hit. so true....weeding through several "outlets" to get some basis of truth and reality has become the norm...Im not sure it hasnt been this way from the get go, but it seems the BS has upped its game in the last few years...doesnt help when certain EXTREMELY important information gets tamped down prior to important election years...and thats been exposed for going on for decades...the Media has become a very important Political tool...rather sad...want to talk Political interference, Media would be the #1 proponent...absolutely inexcusable.

well, if I recall, the " e model" came about around the Round Table when people were crawling all over one another to buy ANYTHING electric...a nod should be given to the Media outlests for prortraying anything BEV as the next coming. BEV was promoted as being a HUGE part of Fords future if not its entirety....I know our principle was shit scared of missing "that" wave...and understandably so given the craziness that was BEV in its infancy. As , I think is somewhat obvious, I didnt buy into the frenzy and veiwed that as somewhat of a mistake...but I cannot in any way blame the Dealers that committed given all the hype/ propoganda.....Ford did EXACTLY the same with Lincoln if you recall, promised outrageously good and exciting ( read PROFITABLE self selling market leading) product IF Millions of diollars were invested in the Dealerships presentation and facilitiy upgrades. If you didnt, you werent going to get the product that was going lead to Lincolns resurgence ...kind of shitty to the dealers that had substandard product for so long and were surviving on their Used Cars to survive.

market is fickle for sure...flavor of the month changes on a regular basis cars to SUVs, ICE to BEV, BEV to hybrids, and probably eventually vice versa....stay tuned...and then whats next?...

I know that...we use some of their services...and some of them quite frankly arent that great...but they are basically advisors ...they do NOT sell vehicles per say OR have any idea how to other than apparently "aiding" Dealerships process's for a royalty....they apparently "improve " the process ( debateable ) and help with compliance ( which unfortunatly has become an annoying overwraught necessity ) So..ANYTHING they utilize to prop up their own self promotion I would take with a substantial grain of salt...as stated JD powers rings a bell...and they arent that respected ( COX ) they have become somewhat of an annoying necessity......ie..."Hey, heres a great idea you can utilize for a mere $5000 a month..." they could literally go away and their absence wouldnt be noticed...well, barring their "polls"....
