  1. This is exactly how Ford described how the exhaust brake works. They said that when going down a grade with the exhaust brake, it will maintain speed for you without having to press on your brake.. it isn't designed to slow you down.
  2. Scheduling got pushed back to July 17th on F450s.
  3. http://news.yahoo.com/gm-recalls-another-2-42-million-vehicles-doubles-154144232--sector.html
  4. OMG.. that video clip is Priceless... it would be a crime to not spread this all around the world for other people to enjoy. lol.
  5. Exactly.. Ford was the customer, not Navistar. We were buying the motors from them.
  6. Ok.. now I'm definitely confused as well.. On top of what you said, he has the Chrome exhaust tips as well.
  7. Those are the chrome clad wheels, not aluminum.
  8. Expires 7/22 and my truck is in the hands of the delivery company as of a few hours ago.
  9. I got a brochure with coupon last week. :happy feet:
  10. Phew, I was waiting for the price to drop to $72,000. I'm game.. oh wait.. $72,000???
  11. Normally they will go through it, fix it and then sell it as used. Needs to be disclosed by the manufacturer during the first sale from my understanding but after that, it doesn't need to be disclosed during subsequent sales.
  12. Keep in mind that most states lemon law kick in from the first time the complaint was made. So although you are making payments, they can/are generally refunded back to you. Just keep making them and let the process pan out. Sometimes you can go for a full refund up to the point of the complaint, sometimes you can request an exact replacement of the vehicle. Ford can search high and low for an exact match and give that to you and take yours back.. you would then continue to make payments. Check your lemon law states but it is generally always on your side in regards to making someone whole.
  13. Scheduling is happening in May, builds are not starting till end of July. Expect an August or September delivery.
  14. I'm a hardcopy person myself. Just like the order guides, I printed them out and like to have it in my hands. I went to my local dealership back in January and they didn't even have 2014 superdutys.. all they had was a little insert on the Platinum at had 5 or 6 magazine style pages. Pathetic!!
  15. Cyberdman, I hope you dont mind me replying but will help him out so he doesnt bother you over and over. F450s are not being scheduled till mid to late May. They will not start production till the end of July.
  16. Build time is closer to 24 hours, not 10. Your window sticker should be up today or tomorrow if it is being built on 5/5. Make sure it is not the week of 5/5. From what I've seen, Ford schedules it to the week until it gets close and then schedules the weeks worth of trucks to the day. So most dates are given the week at first and then the day as it approaches. Whenever they give it the week, they state it for that Monday. My guess is since your window sticker isn't available yet, it's the week of 5/5. Trucks will ship once they have a full truck worth to bring to the area.
  17. The window sticker shows up 7 days +/- 1 day before build time. If your build date is 5/5 (be careful that it isn't the week of 5/5 being the 5th is a Monday), your sticker should be available on around the 28th of April. Example, My f350 that I originally ordered had a build date of 3/21. My window sticker became available on 3/14 but the truck didn't make it off the line till 3/24.
  18. Well that would explain why I haven't received one either that I asked for under my name or my wife's name. I'd imagine they will ship them as soon as they are available.
  19. Then they are just lazy and don't want to look it up in their system. Dealers have the ability to look it up for you. Your build date is usually 7 days after your window sticker becomes available. You can also create a post with your VIN in here for tracking. Read the rules before posting in that forum so you don't get overlooked by breaking them. http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/forum/80-vehicle-locator-by-ford-employees/
  20. The c&c models for 2015 (450 and 550) are the old 6.7 with the same hp/tq rating of the 2014s. They also do not have the exhaust brake. Someone on powerstroke.org already bought a 15 and confirmed it. Also showed pics, no exhaust brake. I also confirmed it from 1 of the vendors on thedieselsite yesterday. The f450 pickup gets the new motor and exhaust, not the f450 and f550 c&C models. http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/general-6-7-discussion/731065-2015-f450-build-thread.html
  21. Now that you say that, you are correct. What was stuck in my head when building mine was adding the snow plow package and scrolling down and seeing the dual alts are required. But it's not the snow plow package that is requiring it. Platinum trucks require dual alts and I'm ordering a Platinum with snow plow package. Thanks for catching that!!
  22. No one has been able to buy a 15 yet. The ok to buy order was just given today by Ford on all superdutys.
  23. Heavier front springs.. thats all. Dual alternators are required with it.
  24. Everyone with MFT got this. They announced it last year I believe.
