  1. Thanks Gary, I'll take a look, I have a gauge in each vehicle as well, I'll have to go by my tire dealer and have him check it to see where I'm at compared to the analog gauge I have ($1.99 special lol)
  2. I inflasted the tires from 40psi (came from the factory this way) up to 48psi to see what the gains are. So far I'm at 21.8mpg after my 3rd tank of gas. Will be running a few tanks with the 48psi to see if there is much difference. I can say though that I have not felt any type of decrease in ride quality.
  3. 3rd row is not quite ready yet but it will be $54.48 with free shipping.. should be ready very soon.
  4. I just got it and put it on yesterday myself. Very straight forward. The protector has a film on both sides and the front of the film (lip) is shaped to the front of the rear bumper (cargo area side) so you basically position it on the bumper and it automatically positions itself in the correct spot, peel the film away and it's on.
  5. Will no longer need your tracking services. I found an exact match of the one I ordered in stock at a different dealer and bought it today. It is really messed up that this one was built 8 days after my order yet it's been at the dealer for a few days now and mine has been sitting "awaiting shipping" for almost 3 weeks. Thanks for everything!!
  6. Not true, the latest from Craig on fb is for dealer to call their zone manager for authorization. All rebates for 2011 are price protected and will be honored if ordered prior to expiration date. It sounded like Ford was getting a ton of complaints, most because of the major delays so they are honoring all rebates. This has been confirmed by a few sources and many buyers have posted they got their rebates without issue.
  7. You will still get the $1,000 if you ordered prior to 4/5. Ford has price protection on rebates.
  8. 100% agree!! Regardless of whether someone says they appreciate him for what he does, breaking his simple rules is cometely disrespectful. I hope we dont lose his service. Stop bumping your requests people!!
  9. Figured I'd post it since I'm sure many have missed it like I did. Rules were updated at the end of March. To sum it up, he said unscheduled - clean status = bump your thread once every two weeks. Any other time, only request an update once a week. Lets not lose his valuable service by breaking his rules.
  10. Bump, VIN 1FMHK8F87BGA40543 Crossing fingers it hasnt been pushed back. Thanks so much!!
  11. Yes, they are significantly better. I ordered the all-weather as well and hoping my dealer will take them off the price of the vehicle and keep them. If not, I'll use them during the summer months when the streets are clean. The husky's are cut to fit left to right and front to back. There isn't any carpet exposed whatsoever and the mats have a 1-2" lip on the sides of them so it's like a bucket.. it'll catch all the dirt and water so nothing will hit the carpet. When you open the door and look down at the lip (the part you'd stand on if you needed to reach the top of the roof, the Husky mats actually go up and cover this lip so even that carpet isn't exposed. The 2nd row is a one piece carpet, it goes from the left door completely across to the right door and is molded as well. The dealer mats are just a single mat for left and right seat (nothing in the middle). Then there are the two cargo mats.. one goes in the well area where the 3rd row would fold down and the other covers the whole 3rd row area when it is folded. These also have the lip to catch anything that. See the link below to see the pictures of them installed. I don't know if you have to be registered to see them pictures. cargo mat over the 3rd row http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=308544&page=7 2nd row mat http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=308544&page=8 Not sure if you have facebook, here is the 3rd row well area mat The 3rd row well mat stays in there, the seats still fold down jsut fine to cover it up. You can get one or the other,or both. I couldn't find a picture of the 1st row, but if you look at the cargo mat, you'll get the idea of the lip for the 1st row but again, it goes up and covers the door well area if that makes sense.
  12. How many miles on your Ex now?? What is your MPG looking like on average?
  13. Here is my purchase MSRP $47,610 NADA Invoice $43,753 (does not include FDAF) Actual Dealer invoice $44,353 (this includes the FDAF) Xplan price $44,451 (add $100 for doc fees allowed under xplan) Total purchase price $44,551 out the door.
  14. No, it doesn't matter the vehicle, you are more then welcome to get in. Each person will call up themself to place their own order once I get pricing. Whoever we go through will not ship anyones order until all orders and payments have been completed. This is for obvious reasons.. if they are giving us X discount for X orders, they want all the orders placed to warrant the discount. I do ask that if anyone does say they are in.. they stay in. I do not want anyone bailling once they commit because it will only screw up everyone elses pricing.
  15. Doesn't matter, I have 11 people in on it right now, a couple just want the 1st 2 rows, some just want the cargo, and some want everything. As far as the discount, I'm waiting to hear back. I have autoaccessoriesgarage.com getting me pricing.. they wanted to know each persons order first (obviously the more people in on it, the bigger the discount) and I also just heard back from Husky direct and they are working on pricing as well and should hopefully know by the end of this week or beginning of next week. I'm expecting 15-20% off from the autoaccessories website but nothing locked in yet. So far here is the list of people (from the explorer forums) and what they want blwnsmoke - 2 rows, both cargo uniquename - 2 rows, no cargo. Finch - 2 rows, both cargo mats sid&geno - First 2 rows, no cargo Justb_rad - First 2 rows, no cargo gabella - 2 rows plug cargo (3rd row not available) - 3rd cargo well. Jdraper - cargo mat (over 3rd row only) klledoux - 2 Rows, both cargo Lucille - 2 rows, both cargo Fast40th - behind 3rd row cargo silverback14 - 2 rows, extended cargo over 3rd row.
  16. Doesn't matter, order a brochure in about 3-4 weeks so it doesn't expire by the time you pick up your vehicle.
  17. A little premature but dealer has one on the lot that was built 6 days prior to mine.. hoping to have it in transit based on that timing VIN 1FMHK8F87BGA40543 Thanks so much!!
  18. Not sure how you meant "dealer cost".. if you meant it's what the dealer pays, that's incorrect, $55 is retail price. If you meant that dealer cost is what they are charging the customer, then forget what I just posted.
  19. I have a group buy in the works for Husky lines for the 11 Ex on explorerforum.com. If anyone is interested in the group by, please let me know by posting here. I'm still working out the details with the vendor but I'm trying to get a list of who wants what. The bigger the order (more people), the bigger the discount. Here is the link to the mats.. http://www.huskyliners.com/site//Custom%20Molded%20Floor%20Liners?dt=&d=2&ct=29&answer=202&previous=89#ColorChange I'm hoping to get this wrapped up by Monday so we can get our orders placed and shipped. Thanks
  20. I'd call a few other dealers.. unless you really negotiated well, xplan is the better deal. With xplan, paperwork fees are only $100 (my dealer charges $399 off xplan), Ford also pays a $400-$550 spiff to the dealer for selling on xplan. So factor their 3% holdback they get paid by Ford plus the spiff, dealers are making roughly $2,000 profit on an xplan sale. My dealer wouldn't sell one from the lot on xplan, but was more then willing to order one in on xplan for me. I preferred to order anyways (gave time to sell our car) so it worked for us. Being you ordered, I'd go to a different dealer
  21. Window sticker shows 3/17 build.. hoping it started today. 1FMHK8F87BGA40543 ETA?? Thanks
  22. I cant wait!!! Ive yet to see one on the road so it will be nice to be semi exclusive for a while. Only thing I wish it had was the 3.5eco.. was torn between the flex eco and Ex. I went with the Ex because of the latest technology. Didnt want to wait to see if the flex was going to have the myfordtouch in it for 2012.
