  1. This is already available on the 2013 Explorer.. Very cool feature!!
  2. Put your stock lights back in to see if it still happens to eliminate your leds. Then take it to the dealer if it still happens with the stocks

  4. You could just chalk a tire front and rear so it wont move and keep it in neutral all winter. Then you wont have to bother taking the cover off and on every month.
  5. I agree.. If it were me, I'd just wait till I needed an appt. for other work. Every time my 11 Ex has gone it, I've waited till I had 4-6 things to address. Much easier to do it this way on something like this.
  6. Every single time my vehicles have gone in (Ford) for recalls, they have either ordered the parts by phone call, ordered parts while I was there for other work and let me take the vehicle home till they came in or gave me a rental free of charge and I just put the miles on that while I waited. Either way, I never HAD to keep my vehicle there. Maybe a different dealer experience with whoever you deal with.
  7. Umm.. Ford is not covering a rental for this and this is already old news. This should take no more then a half hour to swap out 2 headlights. Couple screws, couple wire harnesses to unsnap and reverse the order to put the new ones in.
  8. 2002-2003 Liberty and 2002-2004 Grand Cherokee models are affected. Chrysler is recalling 744,822 Jeep Liberty and Grand Cherokee SUVs in the U.S. for airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners that can inadvertently deploy or activate, according to filings posted Friday with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Chrysler also recalled the SUVs in Canada (49,430), Mexico (21,828), and in other markets including Europe (103,465), the company said. In total, 919,545 vehicles are affected. http://t.autos.msn.com/news/recall-919545-jeep-liberty-grand-cherokee-suvs-for-faulty-airbags-1
  9. I hope Ford is paying at least 3 monthly payments plus gives them the 7yr/125k, $0 deductible premium care warranty. That is the only way I would have been satisfied. Very disappointed in how Ford handled this. Cant wait to hear the rest. Best of luck.
  10. 3rd row is now available as well as the new 2nd row with or without console.
  11. My favorite: "Will be directed to perform a series of tests that will raise the billable hours for the service dept. but will perform no other useful function" lmao
  12. Thanks Gary, I'll take a look, I have a gauge in each vehicle as well, I'll have to go by my tire dealer and have him check it to see where I'm at compared to the analog gauge I have ($1.99 special lol)
  13. I inflasted the tires from 40psi (came from the factory this way) up to 48psi to see what the gains are. So far I'm at 21.8mpg after my 3rd tank of gas. Will be running a few tanks with the 48psi to see if there is much difference. I can say though that I have not felt any type of decrease in ride quality.
  14. 3rd row is not quite ready yet but it will be $54.48 with free shipping.. should be ready very soon.
  15. I just got it and put it on yesterday myself. Very straight forward. The protector has a film on both sides and the front of the film (lip) is shaped to the front of the rear bumper (cargo area side) so you basically position it on the bumper and it automatically positions itself in the correct spot, peel the film away and it's on.
  16. Will no longer need your tracking services. I found an exact match of the one I ordered in stock at a different dealer and bought it today. It is really messed up that this one was built 8 days after my order yet it's been at the dealer for a few days now and mine has been sitting "awaiting shipping" for almost 3 weeks. Thanks for everything!!
  17. Not true, the latest from Craig on fb is for dealer to call their zone manager for authorization. All rebates for 2011 are price protected and will be honored if ordered prior to expiration date. It sounded like Ford was getting a ton of complaints, most because of the major delays so they are honoring all rebates. This has been confirmed by a few sources and many buyers have posted they got their rebates without issue.
  18. You will still get the $1,000 if you ordered prior to 4/5. Ford has price protection on rebates.
  19. 100% agree!! Regardless of whether someone says they appreciate him for what he does, breaking his simple rules is cometely disrespectful. I hope we dont lose his service. Stop bumping your requests people!!
  20. Figured I'd post it since I'm sure many have missed it like I did. Rules were updated at the end of March. To sum it up, he said unscheduled - clean status = bump your thread once every two weeks. Any other time, only request an update once a week. Lets not lose his valuable service by breaking his rules.
  21. Bump, VIN 1FMHK8F87BGA40543 Crossing fingers it hasnt been pushed back. Thanks so much!!
  22. Yes, they are significantly better. I ordered the all-weather as well and hoping my dealer will take them off the price of the vehicle and keep them. If not, I'll use them during the summer months when the streets are clean. The husky's are cut to fit left to right and front to back. There isn't any carpet exposed whatsoever and the mats have a 1-2" lip on the sides of them so it's like a bucket.. it'll catch all the dirt and water so nothing will hit the carpet. When you open the door and look down at the lip (the part you'd stand on if you needed to reach the top of the roof, the Husky mats actually go up and cover this lip so even that carpet isn't exposed. The 2nd row is a one piece carpet, it goes from the left door completely across to the right door and is molded as well. The dealer mats are just a single mat for left and right seat (nothing in the middle). Then there are the two cargo mats.. one goes in the well area where the 3rd row would fold down and the other covers the whole 3rd row area when it is folded. These also have the lip to catch anything that. See the link below to see the pictures of them installed. I don't know if you have to be registered to see them pictures. cargo mat over the 3rd row http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=308544&page=7 2nd row mat http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=308544&page=8 Not sure if you have facebook, here is the 3rd row well area mat The 3rd row well mat stays in there, the seats still fold down jsut fine to cover it up. You can get one or the other,or both. I couldn't find a picture of the 1st row, but if you look at the cargo mat, you'll get the idea of the lip for the 1st row but again, it goes up and covers the door well area if that makes sense.
  23. How many miles on your Ex now?? What is your MPG looking like on average?
