My kid brother drives a 97 Taurus with 150k on it, and its a pretty darn night ride. Except for the fact that when merging it sounds like someone's makin' smoothies under the hood.
I'm still curious how they're gonna make good power out of the TwinForce without having to cripple it due to transmissions.
I already know that it's going to be torque managed by boost in low gears to save the 6A, but is it ever going to get a PowerShift variant?
FWIW Hyundai is currently prototyping a 500 hp blown 4.6L V8.
If they priced this car around $21-22k, I'd consider it instead of a GTI, Civic Si, Mazdaspeed 3, etc.
But it's a Hyundai.
Word is that the 6.2 Boss WILL not debut until the 2010 model year, which means late 09. At least we're getting it, instead of the V10, because that's what was going in the F150. My source also says NO Twinforce F150.
